Edwin started working at the Coffee Shop as an order taker and later took on additional responsibilities such as morning shift bartender. The CoffeeShop continued to be operated by Edwin until he passed away in 2003. In his memory, a plaque was placed inside of the coffee shop commemorating his long tenure there. In 2007, Starbucks bought out the remaining interest in Edwin's estate which allowed them to reopen The Coffee Shop under their own name once again. With new ownership comes new ideas and plans for The Coffee Shop which include expanding its hours throughout the day and adding more menu items including sandwiches and salads as well as lattes and espresso drinks! Today, The CoffeeShop is considered one of North Arlington's favorite businesses with clients coming in all shapes and sizes! In 1975, Dunkin' Donuts opened its first international location in London, England under the name "Ding Dong" Donuts Ltd.. It was not until 1984 when Dunkin' Donuts moved its headquarters from Sulphur Springs, Arkansas to Springfield, Missouri that they started marketing their doughnuts in individual containerized bags called "Donut Bags." In 1990s-2000s Starbucks was known for giving free refills on all drinks during happy hour (4pm - 7pm). However starting around 2006-2007 Starbucks started charging $3 per refill for ALL drinks including lattes/appliances etcetera which caused customers to switch over to other brands such as Peet's Coffee which continued offering refills for free up until 2018 when Starbucks announced plans to charge $3 per refill starting July 1st

North Arlington is a municipality in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 7,912 at the 2010 census. The first settlers in what is now North Arlington were Germans who arrived in 1795 as part of the Moravian Settlement of Northern New Jersey. The town was organized on March 3, 1814, from parts of East Brunswick and Highland Park. It became an incorporated borough on July 1, 1908. On December 12, 1916, it merged with Minot Township to form North Arlington Borough official government. On October 15th 1909 North Arlington's first fire destroyed much of the town center including the old courthouse and jail; this event is generally considered to be the beginning of Municipal Fire Protection Services for the township which would later become North Arlington Borough. As time passed and more businesses cropped up in town (including a lumberyard and a grocery store), services like health care and welfare grew increasingly complex and expensive for individuals or small towns without municipal governments to support them (e.g., Health Insurance Plan rates for municipalities increased from $5 per month when created to over $30 per month by 1921). In 1944-1945 two referenda were placed on the ballot requesting that north Arlington residents be allowed to vote on whether they wanted their taxes raised by 2 percentage points annually or if they preferred not have any public authority within their borders at all (the referendum failed by a wide margin). This sparked off an argument between residents over how much power each individual should have over their own lives while still enjoying some level of government oversight; eventually this debate led to larger issues such as zoning changes which limited business opportunity in downtown areas while increasing density along Route 22/24
North Arlington was founded in 1792 as a small town on the north side of Newark, New Jersey. The area now includes North Arlington and neighboring Boro Park. In 1854, the village of North Arlington merged with the township of Newark to create a new municipality called Newark-on-the-Lake. In 1973, the municipality was renamed North Arlington Borough.
