The beans were first grown in Manville, New Jersey, and were named after Italian general Antonio Maga. In 1892, the company was founded by Giovanni Battista Zucchetto and his brother Luigi Zucchetto. They began to sell maga coffee beans through local stores in Menlo Park and Newark. In 1923, Giovanni Battista Zucchetto passed away and his son, Angelo, took on the role of president of the company. Angelo died in 1957 and his son Gianni became president of the company. In 1969, Gianni sold the company to Carlo Zanardi who renamed it "Zanardi Maga". From 1969 until 1992, Carlo Zanardi was also the CEO of Zanardi Coffee Company Incorporated. In 1993, Giancarlo Zanardi Jr., succeeded him as CEO of Zanardi Coffee Company Incorporated. Until its sale to Carlo Zanardi Jr., Zanardi Coffee Company was one of the largest coffee companies in America with a total market capitalization exceeding $1 billion at its peak in 1992. The history of maga coffee can be traced back to 1892 when Antonio Maga founded Antonio's Coffee & Tea Co.. He started out selling Italian roasted tea from his home in Newark but soon grew tired of shipping tea all over country so he started manufacturing Italian roast coffee beans himself using only natural resources available near where he lived - primarily Sweeney's Mountain forests for roasting flavor rich chestnut trees which yielded high quality beans that could compete with those from more developed areas such as Milan or Rome (the two most famous espresso spots). After much trial & error he discovered that perfecting roast techniques wasn't just about getting consistent results each time but also ensuring a smooth cup experience with maximum extraction while achieving an intense flavor profile; this is what yielded unique characteristics not found anywhere else on Earth! In 1923 Giuseppe Zucchetto took over ownership from his father Giovanni Battista Zucchetto and continued family tradition by namechecking Sweeney's Mountain forests for their prized chestnuts which gave birth to high quality maga beans –now considered some of THE best around! The company moved to its current location on Market Street in 1951. Maga Coffee has been family-owned and operated since then. In 1974, the company became a subsidiary of Starbucks Corporation.
Manville is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The population at the 2010 census was 16,812. Manville was formed from part of Paramus Township on April 1, 1876, and became an independent municipality on November 3, 1907. It is located within the Educational District of Westwood Borough. The name "Manville" comes from the Dutch word "manwel," meaning "place for selling goods." In 1795 George Washington passed through Paramus and stopped at the house of Nicholas D'Angelo to buy some flour for his army campaign in Virginia. Mr. D'Angelo lent Washington one bushel of flour which he bought back at a discount in Manville for $2 10/gal., making him one of the first people to own land in what would become Bergen County. In 1876, part of Paramus Township was annexed by Manville and became its own municipality with a full government including police and fire departments as well as schools and businesses. The original town center was located at the intersection of Hackensack Avenue and Elm Street (and later Broadwalk Avenue). On May 20, 1907, portions ofParamus Township were annexed into Manville while still remaining an independent municipality; this left manvilles only two streets- Elm Street eastbound and Hackensack Avenue westbound- without any governmental jurisdiction over them other than school district control over Hackensack Boulevard between them- also continuing to be administered by school districts within their respective townships until they were combined into Westwood Borough on January 1st 1979 when all municipalities within Bergen County came under one single government structure headed by an elected Mayor/Councilmember The Demographics of Manville have changed significantly over time but most notably during World War II when many manufacturing jobs went away due to wartime production shortages however now there are several high tech companies that have made homes here such as Intel Capital Ventures LLC who moved their HQ here from Princeton NJ in 2006 There are multiple cultural attractions associated with ManVILLE including: the Historical Society Museum (established 1899), Art Academy (founded 1935), Garden State Park (opened 1909), Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church (established 1830), Methodist Episcopal Church (established 1865) along with several other small shops & restaurants popular among locals & visitors alike like Gilda's Italian Restaurant which has been open since 1978 nearby & local favorite NoMad Coffee which opened in 2009 just down prosecutive street from Historical Society Museum As mentioned earlier there are also several high tech companies that have made homes here such as Intel Capital Ventures LLC who moved their HQ here from Princeton NJ in 2006

Coffee beans were then roasted and brewed at different factories before being exported to other countries. The Turkish people are also known to be passionate about their coffee culture. Coffee beans were first grown in Turkey and then transported back home where they would be roasted and ground into a beverage. After the death of Sultan Mahmud II in 1938, his son Regimilius I took over control of the government and began importing Ethiopian tea instead of Turkish coffee because he believed that Ethiopians had a better taste for espresso than Turks did. Ottoman soldiers would also drink Ethiopian coffee during World War I because it was considered more hospital-like than Turkish coffee. In 1960, Italy's Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti founded La Caffeina Italiana (Italian Coffee House) with his friend Alberto Morrone as its president. La Caffeina soon became one of the most popular cafes in Italy due to its unique atmosphere and excellent quality java drinks such as cappuccino or latte macchiato (tall black café milk). The cafe continued to get popularity after Morrone moved away from running it but died suddenly in 1984 while on vacation in Rome. His successor Angelo Zaccagnini managed La Caffeina until his death in 2003 which left it vacant until 2004 when Gianfranco Bernabei took over ownership under the name "Caffè Bernabei". At Bernabei's direction, La Caffeina reopened on November 7th 2006 with freshly roasted beans from 101st Street Roastery located just down the street from it – making it one of only two cafés around world that continues roasting its own beans continuously! In 1560, Marco Polo discovered these beans while on his travels through Asia, and introduced them to Europe.
MANVILLE, NEW JERSEY HISTORY Manville was founded in 1697 by Nicholas Manville and his wife Judith. The first post office was established in 1702. In 1814, the town became a borough. In 1868, it became an independent city. The population of Manville peaked at over 60,000 in 1920 and declined to 31,000 by 1970. However, the city has since grown again and now has a population of around 45,000. The primary industry in Manville is manufacturing but also there are some small businesses and services that provide employment for the citizens. There is also a large library which helps promote cultural diversity within the community as well as providing access to information that can be helpful when life gets tough. One of the most notable aspects of Manville’s history is its connection to both American politics and military service. Many famous people have been born or lived here including George Washington Carver (a farmer who developed agriculture techniques which helped feed America during World War II), Eleanor Roosevelt (the First Lady of the United States), James Buchanan (the 6th President of the United States), Neil Armstrong (the first human being to walk on the Moon) and Bob Hope (a comedian who entertained audiences for many years).
