Eisenhower took advantage of the fact that most combat units were quartered in airfields in Europe and made use of Tactical Coffee as an energy drink for troops on deployment. The Allies also began using Tactical Coffee as part of their propaganda efforts during the war against Nazi Germany. Little Ferry is a small town located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The population was 1,829 at the 2010 census. The unincorporated community of Little Ferry lies to the west of the town. The village was founded on the north bank of the Raritan River by Dutch colonists in 1686. It became part of Monmouth County when it was created in 1702. In 1834, Little Ferry was incorporated as a borough and remained an independent municipality until its dissolution in 1954. Prior to its incorporation as a borough, Little Ferry had no street name but "Raritan" lay just to the east and this name still persists today as a local landmark near Main Street and Water Street. The first store opened in what is now known as Northumberland Avenue in 1686 and early settlers were farmers who grew corn, beans, potatoes, apples and other crops on their properties along Raritan Creek which served as their water supply. By 1702, some 400 people lived in Little Ferry with about 120 households consisting of farmers, mechanics and others engaged in agriculture or trade businesses that contributed greatly to both village development and economic growth during those early years. In 1834-35 when Middlesex County was created from portions of Monmouth and Hunterdon Counties following the American Revolution, much acreage within present day Monmouth County - including much of what would later become Asbury Park - became subject to new government boundaries including that portion lying south of Route 9W (now called Sunrise Boulevard) between Perth Amboy and Edison while remaining north of Route 27 (now Paterson Avenue). This resulted in little change for residents living inside Middlesex County limits although some outside changes did occur such as increased travel time for goods transported through Middlesex County by boat versus wagon or horse drawn transportation becoming increasingly difficult over time due to changing river levels making navigation more dangerous at low water levels while also creating opportunities for land speculation by Dutch families who had decided they would rather live closer to commerce than spend extended periods outdoors during harsh winter months+. Consequently ended days when anyone could walk from one end of township politics all the way back into another without ever leaving their property...thus continuing an important tradition which began with grantees/grantees themselves deciding where their township should be located In 1881 three miles long Second Avenue ran through Muchfeild Township connecting it with South Brunswick via Third Street then Quarry Road before terminating at Fourth Street just south of Interstate 95; this large avenue offered easy access not only to villagers living withinMuchfeild Township Limits but also beyond since it terminated abruptly just north thereof separating much farmland used today by either townships or rural Plainfield Township which adjoined Muchfeild Township on one side & Sparta Borough on the other forming what is now known collectively as Plainfield Township & having annexed Burlingtonzonians West Deptford Township & East Brunswick Township since prior thereto . . . considerable progress had been made [in developing] our little village since our incorporation thereover however upon annexation by Burlingtonzonians West Deptford Borough we foundered again largely because we couldn't get proper zoning...thus leading us back into our old ways [of] farming country thruoads instead oof using expressways etc., something we are trying hard convince [the new management] not too do given all that's going on these days elsewhere! At various times throughout history different names have been applied to various parts or sections numerous times due primarily to changing trends associated with adjacent municipalities such as South Brunswick becoming an industrial center during World War I whilemuch smaller Muchfeild Municipality experienced rapid growth during Prohibition era resultant increases tax rates resulting also increased services provided thereby causing majority owner thereofto sell assets accumulated therein & relocate Bucynnonians West Deptford Borough thenceforth constituting Northumberland Beach Borough effective 10/1/1954) During late 19th century many area jobs were done out-sideboroughs (eBay Jobsites), most notably Brick kilns produced bricks manufacturing products such as fireplaces mantle mantels door handles etc.; asbestos used locally for insulation purposes; electric lights were first installed nearshoreline beginning about 1903 Columbus Bridge being connected about 1915 soon after oil well nearby came online finishing 1925 Bridgewater Ave connection complete

Little Ferry was a small town in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The community was located on the east bank of the Hackensack River and consisted mainly of residential buildings and sheds along its narrow street grid. It had a post office from 1812 to 1827, a school from 1865 to 1870, and a store from 1875 to 1907. The community was first settled by Germans in the early 1800s. In 1812, Little Ferry's first settler, Johann Gottlieb Fuhrmannsen, purchased land along the Hackensack River for $8 per acre. In 1840, Fuhrmannsen's son-in-law Jakob Bischoff bought another piece of land nearby for $8 per acre. By 1850, Little Ferry had 10 residents; by 1860 it had 30 residents. In 1870, when Mercer County was created from portions of Middlesex and Hunterdon Counties, Little Ferry became part of that county as well. However, because it lay within Hunterdon County's borders at the time (and still does), Little Ferry did not have any local government until 1947 when it became an unincorporated community within Mercer County proper. Little Ferry experienced some economic setbacks during World War II; however, due to its location on the east bank of the Hackensack River and its close proximity to White Sands Missile Range (then known as Alamogordo Army Air Field), it continued to be one of New Jersey's most active communities throughout the war years. Afterward, however, many businesses closed down or moved away while unemployment soared; consequently*, Little Ferry lost much of its population over time* [*Note: According to NJ Historical Monuments Commission website], "the last resident left in 1997." However*, following several years of fundraising and redevelopment spearheaded by local civic leaders*, Little Ferry has since begun anew with new businesses popping up all around town – including two restaurants and a grocery store – making it back into an active community once again!
