The first Keansburg Coffee House was built on what is now Fourth Street south of High Street. In 1875, John D. Rockefeller founded his company called Westinghouse Electric Company which became one of the largest companies in America. He owned many different businesses including the Keansburg Coffee House which he used as his headquarters until 1927 when he sold it to the townspeople. After selling his business, Rockefeller started construction on Oneonta State Park which would later become home to The University of New York at Oneonta (UNY). He donated land for the park and also funded some of its development. Today, Oneonta State Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in New York state because of its beautiful scenery and history.

Keansburg is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 1,912 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Newark–Trenton metropolitan area. The name "Keansburg" comes from John Kean, an early settler and United States Senator from New York. He was born in 1765 and died in 1852. His son George Kean took over the family's land holdings in 1796 and developed it into what is now Keansburg. One of George Kean's descendants, James Fenton Jr., served as Mayor of Newark from 1955 to 1957 and then as Governor of New Jersey from 1973 to 1975. On July 10, 1846, when Union troops under Colonel Robert Ewing burned down the home of Jonas Salk for having invented polio vaccine – one of the first mass-produced vaccines – local citizens responded by destroying all forty homes in town together with their barns and outbuildings. The event became known as "the kean burn". This action helped spur development along the Monmouth Road corridor which soon led to businesses opening up throughout what would become Keansburg; today this corridor continues through West Orange into Woodbridge Township on the other side of Morris County

In 1825, a group of businessmen founded a company to produce and distribute Indonesian coffee. This new industry began to grow in popularity and set the precedence for future international Coffee Gifts projects. In 1916, America became interested in Indonesia's coffee exports and began purchasing large amounts of supplies from Indonesia's growing marketplaces. As Indonesia's economy grew increasingly based on its export earnings, so too did America's love affair with Indonesian Coffee gifts. American gift companies continued to produce Indonesian Coffee gifts until 1992 when all production stopped due to quotas established by the World Trade Organization (WTO). Since then there have been numerous attempts at revival of this once popular tradition but no definitive answer as to why it has failed miserably over time. One possible explanation could be that not enough people know about Indonesian Coffee gifts or are unable or unwilling To participate because they believe that such traditions are somehow related to 'acky' or 'tacky' items such as jellied puddings or fruit drinks instead of actual caffeine products!

Keansburg, New Jersey is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 5,652 at the 2010 census. It is home to Keansburg University and the Keansburg Symphony Orchestra. The first European inhabitants of what would become Keansburg were Native Americans who lived there for several hundred years before Europeans arrived in 1681. In 1812, John Cranch sold part of his land in present-day Morris County to Elias Putnam and others for $1 million dollars. The Putnams named their land "Keansburg" after their maternal grandmother ( Elizabeth Kean). In 1869, John D'Angeline bought 2/3 of the property from the Putnams for $848 cash. D’ANGELINE began construction on what would become known as "the Alma Mater". He planned to build a college which would serve students from all over Morris County. When it was completed in 1870, "the Alma Mater" became one of the most popular tourist attractions in town and quickly gained national attention. In 1876, Mrs. Addie Key donated 20 acres (8 ha) of her land adjacent to her house on Broad Street in Morristown to form the nucleus around which Keansburg developed as a small village with its own post office and school district. Early residents here included many prominent members of society such as Judge George Wurtzel (1796-1873), Samuel Morse (1795-1856), Asahel Parsons (1800-1871), Drs., Jeremiah Simonds (1800-1868), Jonas Sibley(1800-1875) and Revs./Dentist Augustus Kelley(1794-1864). Many families also moved into town during this time including those from Bethlehem who founded Brownstown shortly afterwards; West Orange parents moving into town after their children's schools closed down; Eastonians coming after they lost their Plainfield plantations; etc.. As development continued along Broad Street into what is today downtown Keansburg proper – characterized by brick buildings dating back to the 1830s withstood various fires over time – people chose different names for various portions of town: Downtown Park; Gadsden Place; Canal Walk; Main Street Northampton Avenue Southwestern Boulevard Stripes […] etc.. Eventually these areas came to be known collectively as "the Hill", due primarily to its commanding location overlooking Broad Street near where later generations erected homes throughout downtown still seen today including that now used by KU Lehigh Valley football players on Saturday mornings!
