Gourmet Coffee has been a part of Hammonton for over 50 years. The coffee company was started by Mr. and Mrs. Edwina Weis in 1962. They were the first to sell coffee from a truck on the Hammonton town square. Gourmet Coffee is now located in two locations, one in downtownHammonton and the other off Route 202 near the University of New Jersey campus. Gourmet Coffee began as a small family-owned business, with four employees and three truckloads of beans per day delivered to their Hammonton shop. It wasn’t until Mr. Weis met his future wife, Mrs. Ann Sutherlin, that he decided to open his own business – Gourmet Coffee would be known for its unique roasts, fresh creams and delicious iced coffees! They served coffee until 1971, when they moved to their current location on Main Street in Hammonton.
Hammonton is a borough in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 9,594 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia–Camden–Wilmington metropolitan area. Hammonton was named after James Hamelton, one of the first settlers in what is now Middlesex County. The town of Hammonton was founded by Dutch colonists on February 4, 1719 as a result of an land grant from William Tryon II, 1st Duke of York and Albany. The original name for the township was "Hamelton". In 1814, when Morris Township were formed from parts of two other townships (Middlesex and Hunterdon), Hammonton became part of Morris Township. On November 6, 1869, portions of what are now East Brunswick and Westampton Township were added to Hammonton as well; these changes made it a borough with a total population of 10,872. On January 1, 1976, all municipalities within Middlesex County except East Brunswick were merged into Camden County (minus Westampton) to form the newly created Camden County Municipalities; howeverHammonton remained an independent municipality until its merger into Camden Cmty on January 1st 2006 According to the United States Census Bureau's report for 2000,[1] there were 8oni people residing in Borough limits: 7% white non-Hispanic males and 13% black or African American Males. There are no Hispanics or Latinos living in Borough limits according to that report as well - only whites account for over 50% total population growth since 1990 among U.S.-born residents ages 25 years and over - making HAMELTON an all white community despite this city's sizable percentage minority populations (13%). Of particular note are high proportions of Anglo-Saxon Protestants (-91%) who continue to dominate socio-economic life while also remaining overwhelmingly self-reliant economically due to their geographical isolation from major urban areas throughout most if not all hamlets across NJ which has resulted in manyiggles found between different groups within hamlets iinvolving increased crime rates amongst certain demographics typically clustered around large cities/townships while those same demographics generally have very low rates relative to other groups when compared side by side across similar neighborhoods situated throughout most or all NJ suburbs

During World War II, when production of ground coffee skyrocketed due to wartime needs such as gasoline oil, eggs Benedict became a key American dish made with whole bean espresso instead of instant espresso powder or crema (milk). In 1949 Starbucks opened its first store location outside Chicago; this marked the beginning of what is now known as "coffee culture". Today there are over 2 million Starbucks locations worldwide with more than 16 billion cups brewed each year!
