The beans were sold through local grocery stores and farmers markets. In the 1940s, Mr. Maga passed away, but his wife continued to sell and serve MAGA coffee until her death in 1984. In 1990, Mr.Maga's widow gave her business to her son-in-law, Bob Maga Jr., who ran it for many years until it was sold to Joe’s Coffee Company in 1998.
Gloucester City is a city in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 27,405 at the 2010 census. At one time part of Camden County and now its own municipality, Gloucester City has been the county seat of Middlesex County since 1855. The name of the town originates from Gloucestershire in England. The first settlers to Gloucester City were English Protestants who came overland from North America in 1764 as part of the Great Migration. They founded what is now known as "The Brick Factory" on Meeting Street near present-day Park Avenue in 1765; it became an important transportation hub for goods arriving by ship from Philadelphia and New York. In 1801, when Middlesex County was created, Gloucester City became its county seat. The early nineteenth century saw a rapid expansion of commercial activity in the city due to its strategic location at the crossroads of two major trade routes: the Newark and Atlantic Railroad (later known as the PATH) ran through town and led to new discoveries such as coal and iron ore; while also creating job opportunities for manyaversy locals such as millhands, shoemakers, tailors, bricklayers and other tradesmen who developed businesses around these coveted resources. In 1825–26 construction began on what would becomeknown as "The Bank", one of only a few wooden banks ever built in North America up until that point; this bank was designed by local architect John Lacey to be elegant yet practical with an exterior made out of white oak or mahogany slats covered with copperplate gilded lettering reading "Gloucester Savings Bank". It opened on December 10th, 1825 with $10 million deposited within minutes! By 1850 – more than half a century later – Gloucester City had become one of America's most prosperous cities with over 1 million citizens living within its boundaries. During World War II much progress was made in terms of technology duringbomb raids against German targets inside NJ including truckloads(!)of building supplies dropped by U2 pilots over our city resulting in not one but TWO warehouses being destroyed!

In 1847, Jean-Baptiste Maga became the first café owner in Paris. He started off as a small shop serving coffee and pastries. In 1851, he opened his first restaurant with Ledru Rollin as its chef. This was followed by several more restaurants until 1870 when he moved to rue de Rivoli and opened his own hotel (the Hôtel du Louvre). The following year, he founded the Société Française d'Epoche (SFE) for the promotion of French culture in Paris. This organization helped to support art, literature, and other cultural activities in the city.
Gloucester City was founded in 1788 by the British as a small town on the lower Delaware River. It quickly became a center of colonial trade and commerce, and its location made it an ideal place to grow rice, corn, and other crops. The city also became a popular stop for travelers on their way to New York City. In 1802, Gloucester City was renamed for King George III of England after he visited the town during his trip down the Delaware River. The name stuck and the city grew rapidly over the next few decades, becoming one of the most important settlements on the Jersey Shore. In 1876, Gloucester City incorporated as a borough and began to develop into an expanding commercial center. The late 19th century saw growth in both population and economic activity in Gloucester City. By 1912, the borough had reached its peak with a population of over 100,000 people. However, World War I caused much decline in business activity due to shortages of food and munitions throughout Europe. As a result of this wartime slump, many residents left Gloucester City for better-paying opportunities elsewhere on Jersey Shore or outside of New Jersey altogether. However, efforts have been made over recent years to revive some aspects of community life in Gloucester City including increasing access to cultural events and programming; developing new businesses; and creating new public spaces within walking distance from homes or businesses). Despite these challenges posed by current economic conditions, overall development has been positive for the city since its establishment more than two centuries ago.

In 1861, Gloucester City became part of Middlesex County and experienced heavy waves of immigration from Eastern Europeaharvesting new jobs for local people. Beginning in the early 20th century, riots occurred sporadically throughout Middlesex County due to social unrest or political instability arising out of changes in American government or world events such as World War I or World War II
