Glen Rock is a small town in Essex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 9,851 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Newark–Trenton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first coffeehouses in Glen Rock were established by Dutch immigrants in the late 18th century. In 1798, Nicholas-Jacques Rousseau opened his Rousseau Coffee House and made coffee from beans brought over by French traders. In 1824, John Cavanaugh opened the John Cavanaugh Coffee House and became one of the earliest coffee roasters in America. In 1905, George Hirsch founded The Gourmet Coffee Company in Glenrock with a single roast of chlorinated water Java roasted beans from Indonesia known as "The Greening". From 1906 to 1916, The Gourmet Coffee Company published The Gourmet Album which contained photographs of Glen Rock's citizens and businesses along with their favorite coffees from around the world. In 1944, Edward Ruppert reopened his Ruppert's Coffee Shop on Broad Street as one of America's first gourmet coffee shops where customers could purchase fresh espresso drinks served hot or cold with various toppings such as syrups or creams and many others specialty items not found at other cafes then or today like chocolates or pastries etc...Ruppert remains an important figure in American Gourmet Coffee history to this day!

Glen Rock, New Jersey is a small town in Mercer County, New Jersey. The population was 2,914 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia-based media and entertainment district known as the Media World. The name Glen Rock comes from two places: "Gleann Rona" meaning "ridge of rocks" and "Rocky Point", which was once a point on the Delaware River. The village was founded by Irish immigrants in 1810 as part of an effort to escape British rule. After the American Revolution, many Irishmen settled in what is now Mercer County, including Captain John Slattery's family who werewolves that attacked settlers near present-day Glen Rock on July 12, 1776. In 1815, Captain John Slattery's brother Connell Slattery founded a trading post in what is now Glen Rock with his wife Susan (née O'Neill). The first store opened at this location on October 25th of that year. In 1824, Captains John and Connell Slattery built a log cabin on Rocky Point for their family and their staff of seven men – all male except for one woman who helped care for them during those early days. In 1830, Captain John Slattery erected a gristmill and sawmill on Rocky Point Creek; these mills remain today as well as several other businesses within the village limits such as Hardware Plus and Girders Unlimited which are still open today despite being closed for more than 20 years! In 1840, Captain John Slattery married Jane Greenough who would later become known as Mrs.Glenrock! The Village became incorporated by Act of Legislature on December 3rd of that year! On May 30th 1861 local resident James Doherty donated land east of present-day Main Street to form Glennrock Cemetery! This cemetery still stands today although it has been extensively renovated over time! On November 1st 1902 Rev J B Priest announced plans to build an addition to Church Street which would eventually become home to Masonic Hall! This building currently houses various businesses including Allied Telesis Corporation which also operates nearby Twin Towers Mall! On July 14th 1941 Major General Leslie Smedley made history when he became Commanding Officer USAAF Station Glenrock NJ after its opening following relocating from Morristown AFB NJ following World War II ! At that time Station Glenrock consisted of three hangars & six runway!!! With its beautiful setting overlooking both Broadwalk & Giants Bridge (& numerous smaller airports located aroundNJ) Station Glenrock served virtually every need USAF pilots had during those days!!! Today only one hangar remains operational while all other pads have been converted into housing units!!!!!!

In the early 1900s, Dutch traders discovered coffee plants near Sumatra, and began toimport coffee from that region. By 1913, coffee was being sold in Dutch markets as Java Coffee. In 1915, The United States War Department introduced espresso-based bulletins as propaganda material for American troops during World War I. In 1924, Italian immigrants Giovanni Manzoni and Angelo Demetrio opened a small grocery store called La Colonna on Second Avenue in New York City that became one of the first commercial roasters of espresso. The success of this store led to De Martini & Company opening its own roastery and manufacturing plant in 1925. This factory became known as The Rome Factory because it productionted all types of espresso beans including Lungo (long) and Intensivo (extensive). Over time different companies produced their own variations of cortados (small cups of espresso), macchiatos (medium cups of espresso), ristretti (large cups of espresso), eclairs (heavy cream flavored éclairs), etc., which are still popular today across many cultures

Glen Rock is a town in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 11,611 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Paterson–Troy Township Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in Glen Rock was Nicholas Cullen who arrived on December 16, 1786 and named his land "The Glen", after the nearby Glenwood Abbey in Scotland. On July 12, 1814, John Stephenson purchased from Nicholas Cullen 640 acres (2 km²) of what would later become Glen Rock Township for $5 per acre ($/acre). On November 9th, 1824, when Hunterdon County was created from portions of Middlesex and Sussex Counties, it included all of what is now Morris County including Glenrock Township. The first post office was established at "The Glen" on December 3rd of that year. George Washington Forbes served as Postmaster from 1825 to 1830; his successor was Tryon Smedley until 1840. In 1838-9 James Caldwell built a sawmill on the stream that forms the border between present-day Glennrock Borough and Southwick Township east of its current intersection with Route 23 (the old Chenango River Road), just south of what would become known as Caldwellsville today. This mill became one of the most important commercial enterprises in the township for many years supplying local farmers with lumber and other goods needed for construction or repairs to their farms during those early days before transportation became available only by boat or wagon across Lake Erie or through Trenton Junction on the Hudson River Traffic Bridge which opened in 1847 made getting supplies farther into rural areas much easier than it had been before. The sawmill closed around 1850 but left a legacy behind; according to oral history developed by Morton Berenson circa 1957-8: “When I went to work at [caldwell's mill] there were about 20 men working there ... Now it’s down to 8 men... [Caldwell] left me a million dollars worth of property here—twenty thousand acres—and I still own it today." In addition to providing essential economic stability for small towns throughout New Jersey during this period there are numerous stories associated with this mill such as one where an overworked employee threw a brick out a window while working late and hit an infant lying inside – resulting in her death; another where employees stored coal near water sources causing several fires starting within minutes when children playing near them got wet; finally one where an employer refused to move workers out of their burning building due to concerns they might light another building on fire – ensuing into such large destructive damage done both inside and outside that even walls collapsed! These stories underscore how significant mills like these were not only critical contributors to early township development but also remain significant icons today long after their original closures or operations have ended. Today many locals still visit Caldwell's Mill every summer during harvesttime for some traditional Susquehanna Valley fare including picking up pieces Of The Cedar Logs That Used To Be There!
