The Glen Rock Air Force Base Flight Museum is the only museum in New Jersey devoted to the history of the United States Air Force. The museum opened in 1988 and contains more than 2,000 pieces of aircraft, tools and memorabilia from the base's history. One of the museum's most popular attractions is its collection of air force gifts. The collection includes items such as uniforms, insignia and other accessories worn by airmen during World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. Admission to the museum is free for all military personnel stationed at Glen Rock AFB.

Glen Rock is a town in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 19,821 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Newark–Trenton, NJ Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The first settlers in what is now Glen Rock Township were Dutch traders who founded a trading post there in 1682. In 1714, Sir George Carteret and his colony of Virginia arrived in America and set up a military outpost on the Delaware River at present-day Trenton. A year later, they founded the township of Glen Rock on land that lay east of Trenton along the then north-south route between Philadelphia and Camden (now Camden City).
In 1849, during the American Civil War, New York Yankees invaded Pennsylvania and burned down many settlements including Princeton (then known as West Trenton) before reaching Princeton where they found General Robert E. Lee withWorden’s Legion entrenched near Princeton University to resist their advance. The Yankees overran Pennsylvania but were driven back by Confederate General James Longstreet’s army which had arrived from Virginia that day to relieve Lee; Princeton was not burned down but its inhabitants were moved to nearby Plainsboro until 1865 when it again became an incorporated village under English law.
In 1874–75, Congress passed an act authorizing creation of municipalities within Middlesex County; due to opposition from towns located close to New York City on Long Island – including East Brunswick – only two such municipalities were created: North Brunswick and Cherry Hill Township (which lies southwest of Glen Rock). North Brunswick becameGlen Rock Borough while Cherry Hill Township became Hackensack Township.
It should be noted that these incorporations did not take place until after county government had been established under state law as mandated by Section 8 of Appendix B of Act No.
On July 1st 1870, section 2nd page 3 lines 20 thru 25 read "the boroughs mentioned being Don Millsborough [northwest side], Gloucester Heights [southwest side], Hamilton Beach [east side], Hackensack [northwest side], Islamorada Beach [northwest side] Livingston [eastside] Montclair[northeast corner]" thus completing establishment of county government for all but one municipality: Cherry Hill Township which still remains unincorporated within Middlesex County despite having been organized under state law since 1870!

For example, it was through their support of radar development that we were able detect enemies before they could attack; their sponsorship of space exploration led to our discovery of planets beyond Earth; and their investment in artificial intelligence has help make possible some amazing achievements such as being able create accurate 3D maps from satellite pictures!

Glen Rock is a borough in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 8,846 at the 2010 census. Glen Rock was incorporated as a borough on February 20, 1907. The name of the town derived from the rock formation located near the community and named after Congressman John A. Glen (1864-1930). The first European settlement in what is now Glen Rock occurred in 1740 when General James Wright set up an outpost there as part of his military campaign against the Lenape Indians. The area became known as Rocksville because of its high concentration of rocks that made it difficult for anyone to build something permanent. In 1814, Major General Israel Putnam built Fort Putnam here and garrisoned it with British troops during America's war with Spain. In 1881, both township and borough were combined to form a new municipality known as West Orange Township which served as the Borough seat until 1906 when their boundaries were changed to match those ofglenrock Borough. The original founder of Glen Rock Borough - John A. Glen - remains an important figure in local history and politics to this day. After he died in 1930, his son-in-law, George Prentice (1870-1955), took over leadership ofthe community and gave it a more modern look and feel which helped make it one of the most popular small towns in New Jersey
In 1785, the area that is now Glen Rock was part of Monmouth County. In 1814, it became part of New Jersey. The community developed because of its location at the junction of two major trunk lines for transportation in the region- the Pennsylvania Railroad and the Atlantic and Gulf Railway. The railroad brought goods and passengers to and from these two companies, as well as other businesses in between. Glen Rock also benefited from being close to both larger cities in New Jersey- Philadelphia and Newark- which made it a popular place to live and work.
