Between 1915 and 1919, Mr. & Mrs. John Pemberton donated more than $5,000 to help finance construction ofFlorham Park Memorial Stadium which currently serves as home to both at Bloomfield Hills High School & Florham Park Township Community College football games as well as other events throughout the year! Florham Park is a borough in New Jersey, United States. It was formed on May 25, 1875 from the merger of two smaller towns, Florham and Paramus. The population was 382 at the 2010 census. The first European settlers were Dutch Protestants who arrived in 1664. They named their town after Florisburgh (now Edinburgh), Scotland, where they had been born and raised. In 1795, land south of the Passaic River was grants to 3 citizens of Trenton by Governor James Kildare as part of an effort to develop what would become Newark County into a thriving metropolis. With streets laid out and farms built, business grew rapidly and by 1800 there were more than 50 families living in Florham Park together with three churches and schools. In 1825, Florham Park became one of the original 11 municipalities within New Jersey when it was created as part of Monmouth Township from parts of Middlesex County. The village developed slowly until 1830 when a schoolhouse and store were built along Main Street; soon afterwards came further development with shops, a post office (1831), barns (1836), residences (1838), an opera house (1842) and wharf for shipping products to nearby Camden Harbour. In 1850-51 another church was added to the village – this time Lutheran – while mills continued to be built throughout the years including one that still stands today adjacent to Route 9A just east of Interstate 95: "Mills & Wagon Works" ran until 1910 when it went bankrupt due to competition from larger machines being produced in neighboring Edisonville postwar era township developments also known as “Jolly Green” or “Florham Park” although much newer erection date back prior thereto". After years of decline during Reconstruction following America's Civil War Florham Park began prospering again in recent decades through heavy industry such as pharmaceuticals production at Eli Lilly & Co.'s plant on Easton Avenue between Main Street and Route 9A during World War II; however following Hurricane Sandy which struck September 2012Florham Park lost its main commercial center located on Route 9A near I-95 exit 12 due to extensive flooding including downed trees blocking access roadways across wideargadeof riverfront homes making it difficult(if not impossible) for any large scale businesses or trucks coming into town during peak hours especially if water levels rose above normal.. In retaliation Nassau County placed grazing regulations affecting deer populations so much that many farmers moved outside Borough limits into neighboring counties Lackawanna, Sussex etc., leading some residents Westward towards Rahway even beyond borders Of Bloomfield Hills NJ Rich Amstedt has since purchased all assets north of I-195 except real estate within Borough limits subject thereto A plan has been made whereby Amstedt will redevelop South side lots currently used for residential purposes only with synagogue/school/park/grocery store space attached thereupon

Florham Park is located in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The town was named for Colonel John Florrick, a Landowner and Deputy Sheriff of Middlesex County during the American Revolution. The original townsite was laid out on the east side of the Hackensack River. The first post office in Florham Park was established on July 8, 1814. On October 15, 1826, Florham Park became a borough under the jurisdiction of Newark; however, it retained its own board of trustees until 1907. In 1912, Florham Park merged with Newark to form the new City of Newark. In 1916-17, Florham Park annexed part of Milford Township which bordered it to the south and west. In 1922-23, when Morristown Township was created from portions of Middlesex and Essex Counties (including Milford Township), FlorHAMPark annexes parts of that township as well – including Rankin Road and White Horse Pike – making it one municipality covering two townships. During World War II many businesses were set up in what is now Borough Hall complex due to demand by veterans seeking employment after their discharge from military service or because wartime production had increased sharply in neighboring municipalities such as Trenton and Paterson. Afterward many residents moved away due to high crime rates within borough limits combined with difficult commute into larger municipalities like Newark or Paramus NJ without any similar amenities such as schools or shopping malls close at hand like they had back when they were villages situated near riverside communities like West Orange and Clifton NJ .
