When the first coffee beans were grown in Bound Brook, New Jersey, it was a small town of around 10,000 people. The coffee that we drink today originated from two families who cultivated and roasted their own beans. Today, many small businesses inbound to Bound Brook sell artisan coffee. Some of these businesses date back to the 1800s and even earlier. One of the earliest businesses in Bound Brook was The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf House on Main Street. This business roasting and selling its own quality coffee for locals and visitors alike until 1963 when it relocated to its current location on Livingston Avenue. In 1969, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf House also became one of the first stores in New Jersey to offer ground espresso for purchase by consumers. In recent years, many additional small businesses have opened up within the boundaries of Bound Brook – some dating back as early as 1810! The Bound Brook Coffee Company, founded in 1892, was one of the first coffee companies in New Jersey. The company grew rapidly and soon had a chain of stores throughout the state. In 1916, Bound Brook became the first coffee company to sell its beans direct to consumers. In 1951, the Bound Brook Coffee Company merged with another coffee company, The Monmouth Coffee Company, which made it one of the largest coffee companies in New Jersey. The merger created a large corporate empire that continued to grow until 1984 when it merged with J.B. Lippincott & Co., creating what is now JBL Coffee Corporation.
Bound Brook is a town in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The population was 33,569 at the 2010 census. Its ZIP code is 07706. Bound Brook is part of the Newark-Union Township civic division and lies along the border of Union and Essex Counties. The town was founded in 1777 by English settlers on what are now the eastern side of Bound Brook Road northwest of where it intersects Morris Avenue. Bound Brook's name comes from its location on the Ramapo Mountains, which run through its core. The first European settler in what is now Bound Brook was Nicholas Basso who arrived in 1777 from Rome with his family. He built a small cabin near present-day Maplewood and named it "Basso's Station." In 1806, John D'Avanzo purchased land east ofbound Bound Brook Road for $1,000 from Nicholas Basso's grandson Nicholas Bassi Jr., making BoundBrook one of the earliest towns in New Jersey to be authorized to levy taxes by an act of Congress. With this initial growth came problems--the village had not yet received proper Sewerage or Fire Insurance services until after 1815 when Robert Morris donated money to improve these services; still later, when Morris became Presidentof Pennsylvanian college (now University) he sponsored legislation establishing that all new towns within 20 miles must have a School Board and receive water service as well as education bloodstreaming directly into their own communities without going through larger villages like Princeton or Trenton In 1847, boundary changes were made to include parts of South Brunswick Township including what is today Bound Brook while Stillwater Township remained unchanged except for changing its name to North Brunswick Township in 1907 because of land acquisitions made by Rutgers University. During World War II many factories were set up along Ridgefield Ave just outside present day boundaries limits of both townships making it difficult for people living within those boundaries not living under military jurisdiction during that time period but also inside boundbrook borders

This machine could also be used as a pour-over brewer by adding ground coffee and milk to a small pot or mug, letting the heated water steep for minutes before using.

In 1879, Bound Brook became an incorporated town after voters approved a proposal by Mayor John A. Daly to annex land east of the Susquehanna River for future development. The town's growth continued as it developed businesses and services such as schools, churches, hospitals and a library. In 1907, Bound Brook became part of Philadelphia County after being annexed by the city. In recent years, Bound Brook has experienced some struggles with economic stability and declining population levels. However, many residents still maintain strong ties to their community and continue to work in local businesses.
Bound Brook was a small town in New Jersey that was founded in 1737 by the merger of two other settlements, Bound Brook Township and Burlington Township. The name of the merged township is still used to this day. The first residents of Bound Brook were farmers who grew crops and raised livestock on their properties. Over time, the area became known for its industry, including manufacturing plants and textiles businesses. In 1921, Bound Brook became an incorporated borough after being granted city status by the New Jersey Legislature. It joined as a part of Passaic County in 1965 and again became an incorporated borough in 1971.
