Beachwood is best known for its beaches which are considered some of the most beautiful in North America. Beachwood was founded by Dutch immigrants in 1738. It became a borough on November 3, 1892 and became a city on December 14, 1898. Beachwood has a humid subtropical climate with mild summers and cold winters. In summertime temperatures can reach as high as 40° F (4° C), but January lows are below 21° F (-7° C). For much of the year there is very little precipitation since it falls mainly during winter months when temperatures range from 0 to 4 degrees Celsius (32 to 16 degrees Fahrenheit). Most of Beachwood's economic activity takes place within its borders: tourism, agricultural pursuits such as raising chickens or pigs, manufacturing items such as soft drinks and baking products; and services including daycare and groceries. Roasting began to take place at encyclopedias and libraries, where people would read about the different flavors and effects that roast could have on coffee. As coffee became more expensive, businessmen started to purchase large quantities of fresh roasted beans so they could ship them all over the world. In 1795, a Frenchman named Pierre-Simon LaFontaine developed a method for roasting coffee that made it easier for buyers to find specific types of beans and make their own blends. By 1815, coffee had spread around the globe and was being sold in dozens of languages.

Beachwood is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 Census, the borough's population was 25,711. Beachwood was formed from portions of Seaside Heights and Caldwell on March 14, 1911. The town name is derived from two beaches in the area; Beaches-on-the-Hudson and Beaches-in-The-Pines. In 1824, Loyalists belonging to General James K. Polk elected John Pemberton as their delegate to the 4th Provincial Congress at Trenton. In 1828, Beachwood became part of what was then known as Monmouth County and its first mayor was Nicholas Marino. However, in 1847 the county was divided into four parts including Beachwood which retained its own governance until 1861 when it became part of Bergen County under the new organization law passed by the state Legislature that January 1st. In 1874 (age 48), George Washington Carver settled in Beachwood and began his carpentry business at 222 North Clinton Street which he operated until his death in 1902. Today we can find many examples of early 20th century American architecture such as this one at 219 Clinton Street: On April 24th 1915 – just three months after World War I ended – Beachwood had its first election for Borough President with Alfred Nelms winning over incumbent Joseph Whitehead by a vote of 10 to 8%. At that time Borough President did not have any real power but it did serve as an important role in providing continuity during wartime times when various decisions were made by Mayor Nelms alone or through committee assignments which often involved members from other towns within Bergen County who also served on these committees during wartime periods such as working on economic development plans or buying supplies for troops stationed overseas etcetera etcetera... On July 5th 1916 – only six months after becoming an incorporated municipality – Mayor Alfred Nelms dedicated Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church at 111 South Park Avenue followed shortly thereafter by construction begins on what would become our current Borough Hall building located at 201–203 Union Street which opened to community use on December 9th 1936... We are now proud home to some very special people including our Township Administrator/Mayor since February 15th 2019 Edwin Fenton who has been instrumental in making sure all aspects of township management are being handled flawlessly while also providing support services to constituents should they need it... As you can see from this history there have been many important events and memories associated with Beachwood throughout our history!

In 1853, the United States acquired what is now Jersey City from Great Britain in the Treaty of Paris following the American Revolution. In 1896, Beachwood became part of Bergen County after it was separated from New York County.
