In October 2013 an inquiry led by Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction found evidence that “a number” of ANA personnel had killed civilians or attacked them with rocket-propelled grenades or other weapons while taking revenge for being victimized by coalition forces or government officials during previous operations or peace talks between Taliban and Western diplomats’ teams since 2001″[1]. This investigation was conducted after allegations emerged that members of ANA had massacred over 100 men, women and children after kidnapping them from their homes in Wardak Province on suspicion that they were militants working for NATO or those linked to Al Qaeda[2]. As a result of this report several high-ranking members from the Afghan government resigned[3]. However it should be noted that it is not clear how much influence these events actually had inside Afghanistan given how difficult it is to verify such claims reliably given murky security conditions thereabouts

Bayonne is a borough in New Jersey, United States. The population was 6,711 at the 2010 census. Bayonne is bordered by Monmouth County to the north and east, Atlantic County to the south, and Ocean County to the west. The bayou that forms Bayonne's eastern edge was once a major trading center for southeastern New Jersey and southern Long Island. In 1764, George Washington visited this area while on his way from Bordentown to Yorktown; he noted that "the most fertile ground in all of America" lay between Bordentown and Newark on the Delaware River. The town of Bayonne was founded by Nicholas de Montresor in 1684 as part of an effort to secure privileges granted by Louvain Treaty with England. The name derived from two villages in Holland: Breda (Baerdensburg) and Harlingen (Hartingen). At first, only men were allowed to build homes in what is now Bayonne; later women were allowed as well. A ferry service operated between Bordentown Ferry Terminal on the river south of where present-day Bayonne stands and Ferry Landing on Long Island until 1951 when it closed because of corrosion problems caused by tidal waves generated during Hurricane Sandy. In 1881, Silver Spring Township formed from parts of Middlesex Township, Essex Junction Township, Rahway Township, Union City Township and West Orange Township; it borders portions of both Atlantic County and Monmouth County. On March 15th 1912 Kinderhook Borough formed from parts of Perth Amboy Borough; it borders portions of both Atlantic County and Monmouth County as well as New York State's Queens Borough which lies partially within Monmouthshire Municipality straddling its border On May 15th 1959 East Brunswick withdrew from formation into Union City effective June 1st 1959 due to lack of support among residents who wanted their own municipality rather than share services with East Brunswick On December 12th 1965 North Brunswick merged into Union City effective December 15th 1965 after complaints over duplication among municipalities On January 1st 1969 South Brunswick merged into UnionCity effective January 2nd 1969 following similar complaints On October 14th 1974 North Rockaway Beach withdraws from formation into Beach Haven Municipality effective October 15th 1974 due to lack of support among locals who wanted their own municipality rather than share services with North Rockaway Beach
Bayonne was first settled in the early 17th century. The area now known as Bayonne was part of the Dutch colony of New Netherland. In 1664, the English captured New Netherland and renamed it Delaware. Bayonne wasn't included in the new Delaware Colony, but it continued to be part of English New Jersey. In 1714, British forces invaded and conquered New Jersey, andbayonne became part of the Province of Upper Canada. After Confederation in 1867, Bayonne became a municipal borough within Bergen County.
