The New Hampshire Army National Guard was founded on November 12, 1776. It originally consisted of just a few riflemen and a sergeant who monitored the local militias. In 1803, the state of New Hampshire incorporation its own militia, which became known as the 1st New Hampshire Infantry Regiment. On July 5, 1862, the regiment was redesignated as the 6th Regiment of Infantry in honor of General George Washington’s birthday. The regiment served with distinction during the American Civil War and earned two battle stars for their service there. After the war ended, many soldiers from both factions returned home to join their units inNew Hampshire. In 1903-1905, members of the regiment donated land to form Camp Lincoln in Lebanon encoding hope for peace and reconciliation between Native Americans and white settlers in that area; also part of this gift is a plaque commemorating these events. Today, Camp Lincoln provides educational opportunities for students from grades K-12 as well as overnight stays for troops conducting training exercises there; it also houses an souvenir shop and restaurant serving military cuisine

As a result of this decision, many Lebanese refugees settled in New Hampshire. The first Lebanese immigrants arrived in New Hampshire during the early 1950s. By 1957, there were more than 100 Lebanese families living in New Hampshire. Over time, however, many Syrian refugees began moving into Lebanon from other parts of the Middle East because their homes were destroyed or damaged during Lebanon’s civil war (1975-1990). In 1992, when Hezbollah came into power in Iran after assuming control over much of rural Lebanon following their victory against American-backed troops led by President Elias Sarkis Chicken he announced plans for new construction near Beirut’s international airport which would house up to 1 million people within 5 years if completed. This announcement caused concern among some residents about whether or not they could handle such large numbers without proper infrastructure or services being available for them should something happen to Hezbollah’s leader or government. Thankfully no such event occurred but these concerns have resurfaced recently due to statements made by Hezbollah members about building another airport closer to Beirut which is still under development today

It has been charter town since 1824 and is one of the oldest towns in the United States. The village of Lebanon was first settled by English colonists in 1620 and became known as Northampton after their home town in England. In 1793, the British Parliament granted land to a group of Loyalists who had fled from American Revolution forces. The following year, Northampton became part of Vermont after that state gained its independence from Great Britain. The early history of Lebanon is intertwined with that of America itself. On July 4th, 1776, when the United States Declaration of Independence was ratified, Northampton's residents spontaneously took to the streets to celebrate with games and fireworks. With more than 6,000 people living on the eve of independence, it's no wonder that development around what would become Lebanon didn't take place until much later – only 2 years after Lexington and Concord were burned down by Patriot forces during America's War for Independence (1775-1783). During this time period there were several key moments which helped shape Lebanese culture: In 1824, however, Lebanon voted to become an incorporated town under Massachusetts law because they saw themselves as being "focal point[s] alonga navigable river system." This action solidified their status as a crossroads between Boston proper and Maine; later on it would develop into an agricultural center due to its fertile soil and proximity to both markets inMAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE AND THE WEST COAST OF VERMONT
