The United States Air Force (USAF) was founded on December 1, 1947. The USAF is the aerial warfare branch of the U.S. armed forces and provides air support for military operations as well as providing a force in space. The USAF has more than 58,000 personnel and operates over 350 aircrafts. Since its inception, the USAF has given many gifts to individuals and organizations around Concord, New Hampshire. These gifts have helped make the town better known and respected by the public, as well as enhancing relationships between USAAF members and local residents. Airmen from both National Guard units stationed in Concord have gave countless hours of service to their community through donations of time or money to various causes such as cancer research or veterans' benefits programs. In 1992, then-Chief Master Sergeant Rick Kapp donated his time to help build a new hangar at NorthConcord High School which now houses two classrooms used by the school's aviation program. This donation was later followed up with an annual golf tournament benefiting military members and their families located at Greenbrier Resort near Manchester NH in May of that year only days after Chief Kapp's death! In October of 2014, then-Captain Michael J Sullivan made an unprecedented gift to Concord when he bestowed upon the town its first ever civilian helicopter landing strip - located just outside of town on Hwy 56E! This donation allowed for day-to-day operations by local police officers without having to rely on the services of an airport nearby!

The first Europeans to visit Concord were Pilgrims who landed on Cape Cod in 1620. General John Stark's force of Continental Marines disembarked at Hingham Wharf on December 15, 1775 and built Fort Ticonderoga as part of their defense against British forces advancing south from Boston under General George Washington's command. In 1803, Concord became the state capital of Massachusetts; however, it reverted to its original status as a town during the 19th century due to lack of congressional representation and an initiative by voters to allow for single-member districts (the concept being popularized by Representative Stephen A. Douglas in his famous "New England Compromise" speech). In 1868, with the opening of the Lowell millrace spurred by advances in railroads and industry in Massachusetts,[1] Concord began experiencing rapid growth as an agricultural center with white farmers moving into the area seeking opportunities for high wages and increased production values associated with large mills such as Lowell Mills & Company (founded 1865).[2][3] By 1930, about 60% of all jobs within Concord had been generated through agriculture.[4] However, although many people continued to work outside agriculture untilafter World War II,[5][6], other parts of town experienced significant transformation beginning around that time: downtown became more commercialized starting around 1960[7], while poorer areas north and westoftown saw increasing development but little job creation or increase in housing prices until after 1990[8]. The early 20th century also saw several major events which affected how locals thought about their community: First came World War I (1914- 1918), which killed more than 1/3rd of all civilians living within five miles (8 km) eastofhomes; then came America's entry into World War II (1939-1945), which led to heavy losses among local soldiers and sailors both ashore and afloat; finally came changes brought about by newly elected Mayor James Kappenburger following a referendum held during wartime conditions when support for public services was low despite relatively high taxes levied by government officials opposed to change[9]. These examples provide perspective on some aspectsof lifeinconcordduring these times – much has changed since those heady days before war brought economic disaster across much Maine region

Another example is Davis-Monthan AFB’s Specialty Programs Squadron, which provides unique services not available through other agencies or departments within the USAF (such as aerial refueling). This squadron has been able to provide significant enhancements for airmen stationed at this facility over the years – most notably their helicopter capabilities! These service projects have helped make Davis-Monthan an important part of Air Force life on earth!
