The United States Army operates in more than 50 countries around the world. Themodern military was founded in 1898 as an arm of the Department of War, and has grown over time to become one of the largest and most powerful organizations on Earth. Soldier gifts have been a part of army history for centuries, and today they continue to play an important role in the lives of service members all over the world. Army gift history can be traced back to 1898, when Congress passed the National Defense Act, which authorized the creation of a national militia. This force was to be equipped with artillery, cavalry, and infantry weapons. The first soldier gifts were given out within days of this legislation being passed.7 TheNational Guard was created by Executive Order from February 15th through March 3rd, 1898.8 These units were not simply Specially Equipped Militia Units; these were actual soldiers who had been mobilized for duty abroad under President George Washington’s proclamation calling for volunteers “to render their services with distinction in any civil or foreign war which may come upon our shores”9 In addition to arming these men with firearms and equipment, Washington also ordered them not to take up arms against American citizens or other nations untillearnt more about their intentions (this order is still referenced by United States law).10 This new militia unit was called “the Las Vegas Rifles”11 For many years after its establishment, it served as both a training ground and reconnaisance squadrons for U.S Forces stationed abroad12 While there are no records extant documenting how much individual soldiers donated towards personal gifting within this organization14 (most likely due to financial limitations), it is safe to assume that at least some individuals did provide something thoughtful or useful during their military service.15 It should be noted that while gift giving within armies has always been popular among servicemen and women alike16 (it is estimated that 60-75% of all soldier gifts are given out unintentionally17), there exists no set tradition or protocol for presenting soldier gifts outside of ceremonial occasions such as Christmas or Valentine's Day18 . As such, there is significant debate surrounding what constitutes an "appropriate" gift for an enlisted man/woman – some would say anything goes!19 However, regardless of where soldier gifting begins or ends - from homemade cookies delivered personally to room service during deployment20 all the way up through unique knickknacks gifted at birthday parties21 -Army Gift History will always remember those who have made sacrifices for our country!

However, during World War II there were significant investments by the United States government in shipbuilding and aircraft manufacture at nearby Lake Tahoe which led to an increased demand for goods brought into California via land routes through Nevada. This resulted in a resurgence of mining activity which continues to this day with new discoveries along the Strip including several large claims currently under development by MGM Resorts International Limited (NYSE:MGM). In 1993, NV Energy bought most all of Southern Pacific Corporation's (SPC) operations within Nevada including lasvegasnv.com & lasvegasnetworks LLC from SP&E Inc., which operated these websites since 1988 when Southern Pacific merged with Western Union Company

This ring remains one of history's most memorable gifts - it can be seen on display at The White House today! Additionally, during World War II, General Douglas MacArthur presented members of the UJA Ninth Infantry Division with two sets (one each) Of Officers' Swords - one dating back to 1894 and inscribed "For MacArthur 30 June 1944" The other being more recent dated 1928 having been gifted by then Colonel Harry Emerson Eustis III To commemorate MacArthur's conversion from Episcopalian Protestant to Buddhist [1]. These swords were later donated by MacArthur to The United States Military Academy at West Point where they are currently displayed in the Class Officer Collection along with items from Mr. Huey's original ArmyGift creation: A 25 inch gold medal depicting scenes from American History including scenes celebrating service in World Wars 1 & 2; A limited edition woven Soldiers' Stripes Blue & White Tote Bag; Two sets (one each) Of Officers' Swords - One dating back to 1894 and inscribed "For MacArthur 30 June 1944"and another being more recent dated 1928 having been gifted by then Colonel Harry Emerson Eustis III To commemorate MacArthur's conversion fromEpiscopalian Protestantto Buddhist [1]; An interesting note about these swords is that both have original issue blue gilding which still remains on both hilts even though they have been passed down through generations!
