Many of these visitors bought tickets to see the various exhibits and tasted some of the famous coffees like Java or Ethiopian Yirgacheffe! There was also a roast shop located inside one of the exposition buildings that offered fresh roasted beans at various prices! After Expo duties ended, La Vista slowly lost its popularity as an tourist destination because of lack of business opportunities. However, during World War II, La Vista became an important military base due to its location atflew over 6 million troops during World War II! As a result of this activity, many businesses opened up within walking distance of where soldiers stopped for dinner or breakfast!. One such business was Harry Aiken's Store which continued operations until 1978 when it closed its doors forever!! Today you can still find some remnants from that era including old photos from that time period!!!

The first permanent settler in La Vista was Peter White in 1867. The town was named after General John A. Logan's ranch near present-day Mesa Verde, Colorado. La Vista experienced a period of growth from the early 1900s until the Great Depression; it then went into decline during World War II and afterwards. However, since the late 1990s La Vista has seen an increase in development and population growth as a result of its location within Fremont County and access to Interstate 80 and other transportation options.
