During its time, The Coffee House attracted major celebrities such as Franklin D Roosevelt and John F Kennedy. In 1957, entrepreneur Harry Weitzel opened The Hazelnut Shop at 4122 N Highway 36B in Warrensburg. At first glance, The Hazelnut Shop appeared to be just another typical grocery store – until you noticed the large collection of rare coffee beans on display! By specializing in only rare bean types and roasted using only high-end equipment, The Hazelnut Shop quickly became an institution among gourmet coffee fans around the country. In 1984, Harry Weitzel's grandson succeeded him as owner of The Hazelnut Shop – becoming one ofWarrensburg's most well-known and respected businessmen. Under his ownership,The Hazelnut Shop added a new level of authenticity to their unique product line by sourcing their beans directly from farmers markets around the world instead of usingcertified roasters from Illinois (the source many people thought they were getting). In addition to their commitment to small batch production and sustainable practices, under Harry Weitzel's ownership The HazelnutShop also ventured into new territory by serving breakfast all day long! This innovative move helped them become one of America’s leading breakfast restaurants – remaining open 24/7 until recently!

Warrensburg was founded in 1824 by a group of Presbyterian settlers, who named it for General James K. Polk, the Secretary of War under President Andrew Johnson. The town grew rapidly during the late 19th century and by 1920 had a population of over 20,000 people. It became an important center for cotton production during the first half of the 20th century and saw strong growth in both business and industry after World War II. In recent years, Warrensburg has experienced significant decline in its fortunes as a commercial center and residential area. However, its historic architecture and natural resources remain significant assets.

However, it wasn’t until 1815 that espresso (a type of coffee) was first brewed commercially. Java coffee beans were also found during this time but they didn’t become common until later on because they needed more heat to roast properly. The popularity of coffee began to increase throughout much of the 19th century because of its health benefits such as providing energy for farmers and improving moods and cognitive abilities. Coffeehouses became a mainstay for people living in cities throughout this period because they allowed for easy access to high-quality caffeine without having to go outside or buy it from merchants. However, World War I caused a shift towards tea as the preferred beverage due to its less expensive price tags and lack of health benefits compared to coffee. This led to a decline in popularity for coffee over time as different countries responded differently to war efforts (eastern Germany produced far more tea than coffee). Warrensburg is a small town in Clay County, Missouri, United States. The population was 536 at the 2000 census. The name of the town comes from Warrensburg Creek which flows through it. The first settler in the area was James S. Cash who arrived in 1827 and platted what is now Warrensburg on land that he homesteaded. The present day village was founded by the merger of two other towns in Clay County: Hickory Hill and Spring City. It became an incorporated place on November 3, 1868 when both towns merged into one municipality. The early days of Warrensburg were difficult as it was located at a crossroads surrounded by hostile Indian Territory settlers who did not want anything to do with a new post office located near their encampments and buffalo herds. However, over time the community grew and prospered thanks to its location, good schools, burgeoning commercial trade, and hard work of its citizens. In 1915, due to increasing population growth and pressure from neighboring towns for more space, Warrensburg annexed Hickory Hill; however, that annexation didn’t take effect until 1923 due to objections from Spring City residents who claimed that their municipal rights were still being violated by Hickory Hill’s existence as a separate entity). In 1920-1921 there was an outbreak of polio epidemic which caused great concern throughout the city because so many children were suffering from paralysis; however, despite efforts by local officials nothing could be done to stop the spread of this debilitating virus. With world war II looming large on the horizon most people turned their attention towards helping make America secure or providing support for their country during this time of crisis; however, few realized just how important economic stability would become once hostilities ended. That stability led to continued success for Warrensburg as businesses thrived while families chose to live close together rather than move away during wartime shortages which often meant they lost access to essential goods like food and water molecules necessary for healthy living]. This prosperity continued into recent years with no major challenges faced by either management or our citizens – until last week when reports emerged that racism may have played a role in decisions made about building construction projects within town limits[/1]. Despite initial denials some residents have since come forward alleging discrimination against certain races even going so far as accusing select contractors ( primarily white) of discriminating against black workers[2][3]. The public outcry has forced Mayor Tom Dooley Hotchkiss [4]to issue an apology[5]and begin investigations into possible breaches of city ordinance related to race hiring practices[/6]. Founded in 1811, Warrensburg was one of the first towns in Missouri. It became a thriving community due to its strategic location and its access to the Mississippi River. The town prospered until the American Civil War began. After the war, Warrensburg was destroyed by Union forces.
