Sedalia, Missouri is a small town in the Ozarks region of Missouri. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Springfield-Urbana-Springfield metropolitan area. Sedalia is located on the edge of the Univeristy ofMissouri Valley campus and on Interstate 44. According to the United States Census Bureau, Sedalia has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2 km²), all land. The first settlers in what is now Sedalia were farmers who arrived from Kentucky in 1836. They named their town after General James Fenton, who had been commander of an army that fought alongside President Andrew Jackson during the Mexican–American War and then served as governor of Arkansas Territory before moving west to take up land in present-day Sedalia County. The town began to grow rapidly when a railroad was built through this area in 1872, and soon there were mills, churches, schools and businesses here. The population reached 2,000 by 1880; by 1912 it had grown to 5,000 people and by 1920 it had reached 10,000 people. After World War II%, growth slowed as cloth production dwindled and many jobs moved away from Sedalia because they were replaced by technological advances such as aircraft manufacturing or highway construction. However, over time new businesses have started to open up in Sedalia again including restaurants and small retailers; also since 2000 there has been significant development along I-44 with buildings being erected for business such as hotels and apartments which have brought much excitement to the community recently There are several festivals each year that occur throughout most of October including Harvestfest (a celebration of local agriculture), Ford Festivals which celebrate American automotive pioneers like Henry Ford Jr., his son William Clay Ford Sr., Jimmy Dean & others associated with that industry (including races around Shelbyville), Renaissance Fair (an agricultural exposition) commemorating Italian culture/ traditions etc.; political events like Jefferson Day Parade - one day per year - featuring marching bands from various towns across Missouri plus floats depicting historical figures related either directly or indirectly to our nation's founding fathers; homebuilders' shows throughout November typically showcasing houses newly completed or being renovated within a specific style or type...plus almost every other imaginable event someone might expect from an agricultural community like feeder football games between various teams from different schools/ARC Districts involving players coming down specifically from nearby communities for dinner afterwards; finally on Thanksgiving eve there's typically a parade culminating at downtown where everyone gathers together for dinner then Trick or Treating begins until well into next morning...etc

Roasters like Franz Bischof and Johann Gottlieb Kluge focused on classic European roast profiles while Emil Kraus crafted smooth versions of Ethiopian Coffee styles. In 1862, Ludwig Lengtheninger founded the Berlin based German Coffee Company which became one of the largest certificatedcoffee companies in history. In 1925, Wilhelm Sauer founded Heineken Brewing Company in Amsterdam which became one of the world's leading makers and sellers of craft coffee products. Quality control at these early artisanal roasters was often very stringent; each barista had to carefully measure water temperature, grind size, water composition, etc., before brewing a cup for their customers. This meticulous attention to detail has been lost in time but is still highly respected by today's café diners as it gives each individual cup an unique flavor profile. Today'sartisanal coffees are typically roasted by hand or machine with a focus on high quality standards no matter where they originate from
