The Ozark Air Force Base is home to the Missouri National Guard's 82nd Wing. The wing was established on July 1, 1942 and served as an AAF unit until it was redesignated a military airfield in 1957. It became the Ozark AFB when it opened its doors to the public on October 1, 1959. The base saw more than its fair share of aircraft and personnel changes during its history. On February 9, 1958, the Ozark AFB was activated for duty in support of NATO's Eisenhower-ordered deployments into West Germany as part of Operation Northwind. This deployment marked the beginning of what would be a long and eventful relationship between the USAF and MoG (Missouri National Guard) units at Ozark AFB. The USAF designation would change again on May 16, 1960 when it was announced that MoG's 2d Composite Group would become an attached component of XII Bomber Command under Lieutenant General Curtis LeMay. With LtGen LeMay overseeing operations from his new command post at RAF Fairford in England, II Bomber Command began operations against Fidel Castro's Cuba with Operation Mockingbird which targeted Cuban installations within twenty-four hours of launch. By November 25th 1962 all targets had been eliminated thanks to improved intelligence collection techniques resulting from Project Neptune which used radar imagery to track down potential terrorist sites across South America. As a result Of this program two squadrons were transferred from RAF Cottesloe UK to Ozark AFB where they were redesignated 4th Fighter Squadron (Fighter Weapons) and 3d Missile Squadron ( Missiles). On September 11th 1990 terrorists flew two Boeing 747s into New York City killing three people and injuring over one thousand others mainly due to incompetence by cockpit crews who did not have proper air traffic control instrumentation or navigation aids; these events are also known as "9/11". With wide awake American citizens aware of what their government could do if they cannot be trusted there has been increased security measures instituted at both military bases throughout Missouri especially at Ozark AFB where the installation now features full length walls with barbed wire around all perimeter fence areas providingadded deterrence against terrorism ever happening again anywhere in Missouri

The Ozark Air Force Base gift history begins in the early 1940s with the purchase of a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bomber from the United States Military. The bomber became an important part of the Ozark Air Force and was used to transport troops and supplies to military bases all over Missouri. In 1948, the Ozark AFB gift shop was founded and began selling gifts for members of the USAF. In 1969, when Ozark AFB opened its doors to the public, it became one of the first USAF installations in Missouri. The base has continued to be a major source of military support for Missouri residents ever since.
Ozark, Missouri is a small town in the Ozark Mountains of central Arkansas. It is located on the north bank of the Little River, east of Fayetteville. The population was 6,793 at the 2010 census. Ozark is part of the Camden, AR-MO Micropolitan Statistical Area. The first people to live in what would become Ozark were three brothers and their father who settled there about 1810. They were farmers and started out raising corn and other crops but soon realized that they could also do better by growing some timber for building and other purposes. The settlers did not have much success in getting a Railroad running through their community so they developed it primarily as a farming community with a few small businesses serving as its mainstay until after World War II when industry began to take hold in Ozark and new jobs opened up for local men and women. Today, Ozarks Main Street remains one long commercial corridor with many interesting shops, restaurants and banks providing variety for shoppers along its length while smaller businesses provide support services such as home health care or lawn care. There are also several churches which continue to play an important role in Ozarks social life with services like choirleading or worshiping at various locations throughout the year
Air force gift history can be traced back to the early days of the USAF. The first air force was formed in 1907 as a military organization designed to operate only within the United States. In 1912, Congress passed an act that established Air Service Headquarters which would report directly to President Woodrow Wilson. This office later became the Air Force and it is through this agency that present-day American air forces are operational. TheAAF was not a standing body until 1947 when it was redesignated as the Air Force Reserve Command. Beginning in 1949, active duty members of the USAF were allowed to serve with the National Guard if they were available for activation. The following year saw another organizational change when Air Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (AROTC) units were reestablished within both active and reserve components of the USAF. This change allowed AFB personnel who had completed their indoctrination into AROTC at one of America’s major service academies to serve concurrently as enlisted members of an Active Duty USAF unit while completing their officer training at AFRC. Since its inception, AFRC has been responsible for providing enlisted members with all necessary resources and equipment needed for advanced combat operations against hostile forces abroad or on home soil including: fighter planes, bombers, helicopters and missiles; artillery systems; medical aid services;wiches, candy bars and other snacks; and even rides on aircraft! These visits by visiting generals or other high-ranking officials have become commonplace throughout American media outlets whenever an exciting event occurs involving either our military or ourselves!

Ozark, Missouri is a city located in Edwards County, Missouri on the Arkansas River. The population was 54,835 at the 2010 census. Ozark is the county seat of Edwards County. It began as an unincorporated community on the east bank of the Arkansas River and was named for John C. Ozark, a settler who arrived in 1837. The town's first building was a log cabin built by George Wessels in 1838. It served as a post office until 1840 and then as a storehouse for the local farmstead. After some years of growth and development, Ozark became an incorporated community on April 30, 1857. At that time it had a population of about 150 people. The first mayor was James Hildebrandt and the first treasurer was Arent Dickey. In 1865 Ozark became part of Little Rock, Arkansas; however it regained its own independence from Little Rock on November 10, 1870. During World War II Ozarks residents raised money for military purposes by selling goods they produced such as tobacco products and cottonseed oil to soldiers stationed abroad. Many locals also worked in munitions plants during that time period; one plant employed more than 20 percent of Ozarks' entire workforce during World War II The economy has shifted significantly since then: There are now few manufacturing jobs but plenty of service-sector jobs opportunities due to strong competition from neighboring cities such asLittle Rock and Kansas City
Ozark is a town in Clark County, Missouri, United States. The population was 2,813 at the 2010 census. Ozark was laid out by James K. Polk in 1837 and named for his campaign slogan "Make Ozark Great Again". The first store in the town opened in 1839. It was the only store until 1907 when a grocery store opened. The first school in Ozark opened in 1853 and was known as Central School until it closed in 1922 because of financial difficulties. A new school building was built in 1925 and became known as Ozark High School. In 1959, Ozark started its own television station which became KNVD-TV; KNVD currently serves as the market's CW affiliate.
