In Nixa, MO, coffee beans are roasted fresh every day. The company was founded in 1916 by John D. Webb and his wife Sarah. In addition to coffee, the Webb Family also ran a grocery store and sold ice cream from their truck on the square. Today, John D. Webb Coffee Company is a family-owned business with more than 100 employees. The Webb Family started roasting coffee in 1916 because they were tired of buying pre-roasted beans from other stores in town. They found that most of the beans they bought were either too strong or not very flavorful. John D. Webb Sr.'s father had been a plantation owner in South Carolina and he knew how to roast good coffee beans. He taught his son how to do it right, and the Webb Family continued to roast great coffee until World War II when they stopped production because of the war effort. After the war ended, John D. Webb Jr., who was still working at his dad's store, decided to start his own roastery on the property next door to his house. By 1949, John D. Webb Coffee Company had become one of the largest bean roasters in Missouri thanks to its low price point and excellent flavor profile (see below). In 1957, Mrs.(?)Doris Weeb took over running the business from her husband after he passed away; she was then known as Mrs.(?)John D.(?/Jr.). She stayed with JDBC until her death in 2003; during that time she helped develop many of JDBC's current products such as espresso machines and machine bags (?). After Mrs.(?)Doris' death, her son John C.) took over operations as sole proprietor of JDBC Incorporated; he has run it ever since! In 2013 Mr./Ms.(?)(N/A) retired from their positions at JDBC after almost 60 years combined service!

Nixa, Missouri is a small town in the Ozarks of central Missouri. It has a population of about 1,200 people and is home to the Nixa Mid-American Airport. The Ozarks are a region of the Great Plains that straddles both the Eastern and Western United States. The town was founded on July 20, 1881, when two families from Illinois moved west to what is now Nixa. The first settler was John Witherspoon and his family, who erected a log cabin on the east side of Black Creek. Nixa was originally known as Indianola because it lay near where the Osage Indians had their principal village before they migrated to Kansas in 1819. In 1882, landowner James Hays donated land to establish the town name after he found an nixie figure carved into a post at one of his nearby farms. In 1886, Nixa became part of Blair County when it was created from parts of Grant County and Logansport County. After several years of growth and development due to railroads coming through town, school buses were introduced in 1951; Nixa's only stop for public transportation until 1974 when its own municipal airport opened. In 1959, residents voted to change the name from Indianola to Nixa after Congressman Floyd Kapp (R) announced plans for Interstate 55 in that area. A referendum passed by residents in 1960 approved changing the name again; this time it reverted back to Nixa after Kapp declined an offer for it to be named Kansas City metropolitan area or even Omaha metropolitan area like other small towns along I-55 at that time. A new high school was built in 1965 on land donated by local dairy farmer Harvey Hepler; tension between neighboring towns over access rights led to heated controversy which eventually led to construction funding being diverted from Hepler's project instead which caused many problems within community over time culminating with fire damage during renovations which forced him out completely as owner/manager three years later A library opening followed but closed due largelyto lack of donations and management issues until 1984 when LaFontaine Library Foundation Inc., established with support from philanthropist Gerald Ritchie purchased it outright from former owner James Blevins who had tried unsuccessfully since 1978 to reopen it .After much community outcry over budget cuts adopted by then-Librarian Norm Pennington during her first year as director general following Ritchie's death in 1990 she reinstated open reading hours within two years despite objections by some parents whose children were Gifted & Talented students served by Librarians without School Supplies program late morning or afternoon due primarilyto preplanned library closures that occurred sporadically outside regular class times

Nixa, Missouri is a small town located in northeastern Kansas, United States. The population was 1,848 at the 2010 census. Nixa is part of the Topeka- Wichita Metropolitan Statistical Area and the larger Wichita-Anadarko MSA. The town was founded by two brothers in 1854. It first rose to prominence as a coal mining and munitions production center during World War II due to its proximity to strategic targets in Nazi Germany. After the war ended, Nixa experienced rapid growth as an agricultural community, becoming one of the most important wheat producers in Kansas. In recent years, however, Nixa has seen modest progress as a commercial center and its infrastructure has been deteriorating; its only shopping mall closed down in 2013 and its only hospital is not accredited by any medical group. Despite this latter failing, local residents continue to support their town through various activities such as artistry and music festivals.

Nixa, Missouri was founded by General James H. Carlin in 1839. The town was named after the Nixa River which flows through the area. By 1840, Nixa had a population of around 50 people and was operating a ferry service between the town and rural areas. In 1848, the first school in Nixa was built and operated by local teachers. The town continued to grow as more people came to live there and by 1850, it had a population of over 100 people. In 1861, Nixa became part of the Confederate States of America and during the American Civil War, it sided with the Union side. After the war ended in 1865, Nixa entered into an agreement with neighboring Hannibal to form a new town called Hannibal-Nixa. The two towns shared resources and assets until 1971 when Hannibal-Nixa seceded from Missouri and formed its own government.
