In response to these concerns and others raised about MoHarrison County’s lackadaisical attitude towards infrastructure development projects within CDP6 boundaries since its establishment in 2006 through passage of HR 3754 by then MoHarrison County Executive Steve Holland along party lines – more than 10 years after CDP6 had been established – members traveled throughout Harrison County last fall “to sensitize county commissioners about our concerns around development potential inside CDP6 boundaries” according Holland said at a meeting earlier this year held at Union High School adjacent to Md Heights AFBBldg., one month before he resigned his seat effective January 1st following two terms as county executive including four years as chairperson A subsequent report prepared by consultants hired by CDP6 stated that “there are no current or future plans byMoHarrison County government or any other agency … for any type or amount of development within [CDP6] boundaries” Consequently on October 25th 2014 Commissioners unanimously voted 3-0 via secret ballot not only allows but encourages such developments within CDP6 boundaries due primarily thereto being an economic engine engaged with jobs growth and $225M annually associated tax increment financing from state & federal sources over 10 years – creating thousands/tens thousands new full time/part time job opportunities statewide!
