Tactical coffee brewing is a long and diverse history in Kirksville, Missouri. Coffee first began being brewed as early as 1853 in the town of St. Charles. The first known café in Kirksville was established in 1868 by J.H. Stephenson and his brother-in-law, George Lyle. In 1907, the first commercial coffee Roastery was opened in Kirksville by John Fenton and his Sons. In 1916, the United States First Infantry Division moved to Kirksville from Springfield, Illinois after World War I and began using the cafes for its morning coffee ritual. The soldiers would drink their coffee at one of Stephenson's cafes before going off to fight on various battlefields around the country. At some point between 1951 and 1957, tactical coffee became a military specialty within the U.S Military due to its unique flavor profile that could be used advantageously during wartime scenarios such as combat zone deployments or battle drills; this new trend has continued throughout recent years with modern militaries across all branches including law enforcement agencies utilizing it for self-defense purposes or during hostage negotiations/counterterrorism operations etcetera [1]. In 1812, Captain Kirks became the owner of the largest Coffee Plantation in Missouri. At this time, he began to make significant advances in coffee production. He cultivated large amounts of beans, brewed high quality espresso beverages, and sold them wholesale throughout the state. In 1816, he opened what is now called "The Colonel's Coffee House" on Main Street in Kirksville. This establishment became one of the most popular tourist destinations within the town limits because of its unique architecture and well-crafted espresso drinks. Captain John Kirks passed away in 1825 but his legacy lives on through his descendants who continue to produce high-quality tactical coffee products today!

Kirksville is a small town in north-central Missouri, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kirksville–Stokes City Micropolitan Statistical Area. The first European to visit what is now Kirksville was French fur trader Jean Baptiste Chouteau in 1803. He named it La Ville à la Maison Blanche (City with the White House). The first permanent settler in the area was David Chambers in 1814. He and his wife, Mary Jane Smith, founded a log cabin on a bluff overlooking the confluence of the White River and Missouri River. They called their settlement "Chambers's Ferry" because they caught boats across the river to get to their other settlements downriver. A post office was established at Chambers Ferry in 1821, and remained open until 1907. The town name changed from Chambers Ferry to Kirksville in 1838 when James Ketchum became its first mayor. At that time there were only about fifty residents living in what is now Kirksville; by 1840 there were over two thousand residents living within a radius of five miles of downtown Kirksville. In 1847, oneofthe earliest railroads reached Kirksville when the Northern Pacific Railroad extended its line from St Louis to Salina through Kansas City and then eastward to Springfield via Saint Joseph County; this made it possible for goods brought upriver by boat or train to be shipped directly into Springfield without having to go through St Louis orKansas City first. This made an important contribution to economic development throughout central Missouri during the 1850s and 1860s; not only did production increase throughout central Missouri as prices for agricultural products cratered due to high transportation costs, but also industry began moving out of St Louis into more developed areas around Central Illinois and Ohio Valley towns such as Chicago and Cincinnati due to cheap railroad fares available hereabouts compared with those enjoyed by metropolitan areas elsewhere on Southern Europe or North America.] KirksVILLE: From Fertile Crescent To Main Street
