Crestwood, Missouri is a town in Saline County, Missouri, United States. The population was 2,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Crestwood was founded in 1836 and named for General David Crestwood, who helped lead the Missouri Volunteer Infantry in the Mexican-American War. The present day Crestwood was platted in 1868 by James Meeks and named after his brother-in-law Captain John Meeks. The first post office was established in Crestwood on January 1, 1870. In 1901, it became the first general store in Saline County when J.C. Peake opened a store here on Main Street near what is now its intersection with US 71 (now I-435). The early days of this community were difficult; however, over time many businesses have been established and many people have made their homes here including several mayors and Aldermen from Crestwood since its incorporation as a town in 1904 until it adopted its current form as an unincorporated community in 2002. In recent years there has been significant development taking place within the boundaries of Crestwood; most notably with regards to housing developments such as Park Meadows and Willow Glen which sit just outside of town limits but generate much of the town's commercial activity due to their close proximity to both Interstate 435 and local schools. These developments also provide much needed jobs for residents who are employed outside of town while also providing some privacy for those who live within sight or hearing range of these rapidly developing areas

The 20th century saw many changes to coffee brewing techniques with a focus on becoming more environmentally friendly with less water usage per cup than ever before- resulting in a resurgence in interest in this beverage throughout the world.

Crestwood, Missouri is a town in St. Francois County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2000 census. Crestwood is part of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and it is also one of six towns in Johnson County that form the Johnson County Micropolitan Statistical Area. The first European to visit Crestwood was Captain George Rogers Clark on his expedition from Independence in 1795. He named the village after his friend and mentor Colonel James K. Polk of the Virginia Militia who had accompanied him on this initial exploration through central Missouri including what is now Kansas City metropolitan area. In 1814, General Andrew Jackson's forces invaded Johnson County during the Mexican-American War and destroyed much of present day Crestwood including most of its homes and businesses which were rebuilt primarily by German Americans who had emigrated to Kansas City beginning in 1847 after they were driven out of their original home state of Iowa by anti-German sentiment there following the American Civil War. In 1898, when Kansas became a state, Crestwood became an incorporated town with a population over 1,000 people underJefferson Davis as President Pro Tem from 1899 until he resigned on November 5th due to allegations that he had taken bribes from railroad executives while secretary of war; this event resulted in broad public perception against Jeff Davis throughout much of America characterized as "the divider" issue which helped Republicans gain control over US Congress at the start of World War I despite having no major military achievements or victory(s). In 1907–08 when Crestwood was designated as an agricultural center for western Mundelein Township due to increased demand for produce local farmers could not meet due to limited space within their villages/townships; this influx has led (and continues to lead) to growth within Crestwood as well as other parts of Johnson County since then with various commercial ventures established within its limits such as: a grocery store/cafeteria open since 1954 adjacent to Station Rd., two churches (one frame built 1902), high school (grades 9-12 opened in 1951), auto dealership (opened 1967), four residences (two Frame houses and two ranches style dwellings built 1915) adjoining each other on North Townline Rd., three convenience stores/marketplace open since 1978 adjacent to North Townline Rd., five schools including one elementary school opened 1974-75 along with a recreation center open since 1971 along with several private businesses located within its boundaries such as: Overlook Golf Course & Resort operated by PGA Professional golfers Champions Incorporated since 1984; First National Bank building constructed 1935 adjacent to North Townline Rd.; manufactured home sales began occurring here in 1985 concurrent with other aspects becoming more popularized outside its boundaries such as events like BBQ competitions sanctioned by Lowndes Parks & Recreation District hereunder [sic] which have drawn large crowds over time leading authorities responsible for establishing these events & sanctioning participants thereto becoming better known among residents especially those living nearby etc.; alluding generally towards larger scale changes taking place within our community both historically & presently affecting many aspects thereof not mention influences exerted upon smallerscale entities resulting therein etc.)

The town experienced significant growth following Kansas' admission to the Union in 1861, with an influx of new settlers and businesses coming to Crestwood from all over the United States. By 1865, Crestwood had reached its peak population size, with over 2,000 residents living there. However, subsequent economic turmoil and military conflict led to decreased population levels and decline over the next several decades. In 1975, Crestwood was officially abandoned by its original occupants and became a ghost town once again; however, it still retains some historical significance thanks to its unique architecture and other remnants of its past."
