Hernando, Mississippi is a small town in the Delta region of Mississippi. It is located on the banks of the Yazoo River and has a population of about 10,000 people. The town was founded in 1836 by General Hernando de Soto and his army during their exploration of what is now central Mississippi. The town was named for General Hernando de Soto, who made it his headquarters during his explorations of central Mississippi. In 1865, Hernando's son Ramón Félix de Soto laid down the foundation for what is now Memorial University in Hernando. The community also developed into a manufacturing center with the production of cotton goods and other products over the years.

During the 1990s Colombian coffee became increasingly popular due to its unique climate and soil conditions; as a result some artisanal coffees were produced specifically for Colombia such as Bodega Cerveza Colón (Boca Chica) and Los Pinos Rojo (Laguna Seca). As Colombians began consuming more imported espresso products than traditional Colombian blend coffees, many small shops switched over to producing only Colombian-based artisanal coffees. In recent years there has been a growing trend among larger stores to carry both Columbian-branded artisanals and international brands; as a result what used to be seen as mostly specialist items—such as Honduran robustos or Guatemalan sinapiros—are now available on all platforms across store levels.

In 1814, Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto discovered and named the Mississippi River after him. The river later became a part of the United States in 1824. In 1928, Hurricane Hazel hit New Orleans, destroying much of the city and causing millions of dollars in damage. The American Red Cross established a relief organization to help recover from the storm. The organization continues to this day. The history of Hernando begins with Spanish explorers who first landed on what is now known as Mississippi in 1565 AD. At that time, it was part of Mexico and was known as Brazil de la Plata ( today’s Arkansas). After landing on what is now known as Mississippi, these Spaniards explored and mapped out this region for Spain. In 1795, Frenchmen began trading with area tribes and exploring this new land they had discovered. France wanted to control this land so they built a fort at Saint John’s Point on the confluence of the MISSISSIPPI AND WABASH RIVERS (today’s Missouri). This fort guarded against British colonizers who were trying to explore this new land for economic reasons.France also built a Fort Stroudsburg on opposite side of the river near modern-day Memphis in order to trade goods with Native Americans living along the river banks. The French were able to gain some territory in what is now Texas but could not control all of Canada which remained under English rule until 1763 when Great Britain ceded that portion of Canada to France as well as Quebec City which remained under French rule until 1759 when it was given back to France by England following their war with America. It wasn’t until 1800 when Spain arrived in Louisiana Territory which included parts of present-day Mississippi including present day Hernando County! At that time, Spain claimed Louisiana for itself but never laid claim to what is now Mississippi because there was no actual water connection between those two regions! When California gained its independence from Mexico in 1850, California put pressure on Mexico City over claims made by Mexican officials about “Spanishized soil” within California! As a result, Mexico decided notto make any more claims about “Spanishized soil” within California so it would be clear that Californians did not have any legal right to do so! As an indirect result of all this business activity happening across North America during those years – including claims by various European nations about areas they had discovered – American traders started looking into opportunities down south for saltpeter (a essential ingredient for making gunpowder) and other resources needed for their growing industry! Meanwhile, Spanish traders continued exploring these areas looking for other materials needed for their economy such as copper ore and slaves! In 1802–1803 Antonio Perez de Ibarra led an expedition downriver from Veracruz through what is now Jackson County into Indian country where he encountered Chief Tecumseh at Tuscaloosa Bayou while seeking copper deposits! It was only after De Ibarra reached Mobile Bayou near modern-day Gulfport that he realized Indian people lived there too!!! After reaching Mobile Bayou (!), Perez de Ibarra left his party Landau founded Fort Moselle where he unsuccessfully attempted negotiations with Tecumseh!! He then returned upstream}}}

Hernando was founded in 1836 by the Spanish. The area that is now Hernando was part of the old colony of Louisiana. In 1837, the U.S. acquired Florida from Spain and renamed it for General Andrew Jackson. In 1839, the U.S. acquired Mississippi from Spain and called it for General Hernando De Soto, who had fought in Mexico’s War of Independence against Spain. The town of Hernando was established in 1841 by Captain John Fennimore Cooper, a United States Army officer who also helped to develop Indian Territory west of Arkansas as part of the Mexican-American War (1846-48).
