The first coffee beans were roasted in the back yard of Mrs. Phillips’s home in 1916. This early roast helped to start the industry in Greenwood and help grow the community's economy. Throughout the years, many different companies have operated in Greenwood - each with their own unique flavor and tradition. Today, there are more than 20 cafes across town serving up delicious cups of java!
