From then until his death at age 97 years old, St. Michael traveled throughout Palestine preaching Christianity to King David's subjects as well as denouncing pagan idolatry (2 Kings 18:6-9; Acts 8:39-49). In 590 AD Saint Michaels successor named Cyril arrived in Jerusalem from Rome with new converts - including James the Greater (the brother of John), Peter Paul (the apostle who was killed by HerodAntiochus III), Andrew The Apostle (caught up in Pentecostalism), Bartholomew (a brother executed by Nero for refusing conversion to Judaism), Nathanael (an Israelite priest turned Christian) - all proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord over all nations! Pope Gregory I placed Sts Cyril & Methodius under one authority (#1174) after hearing about their work amongst Christians outside Rome! The next year Stephen had gone into hiding when Carpocrates came across him at Antioch with some scrolls written upside down whichStephen correctly identified were fake! Afterward Stephen composed another set of Bible verses on this occasion known now as Psalm 93:1-3which served as rebuttal against false prophets like Carpocrates’s mentor Manichaean teacher Eusebius writing during this time period(Eusebius 2nd century AD)! So much for Simon's warning not TO trust anyone... ." .... even though they looked good on paper!"
