In 1923, Mr. Smith established the first municipal coffee roasting plant in Shoreview and continued to operate it until his death in 1951. During this time, Shoreview became known for its high-quality artisan coffee products. In 1969, Mr. Smith's son, Harry W. Smith Jr., founded the second Municipal Coffee Roasting Plant in Shoreline and continue operations until his death in 2007. The Harry W. Smith Jr.'s plants produce some of the most sought-after artisan coffees available today including: “Hazelnut” and “Bourbon” blends which are both made from 100% Arabica beans; dark roast specialty coffees such as medium roast or black; cold brewing systems; iced tea products; and more!
Shoreview is a small town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,973 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Green Bay–West Allis metropolitan area. Shoreview was founded in 1857 by Danish immigrants and has been one of the most rural towns in Wisconsin for most of its history. The first post office in Shoreview was established in 1858. In 1930, Shoreline Drive was formed from a portion of Broadway Avenue to run through the town center; it remains today as one of its main thoroughfares. The town has several businesses that are responsible for many aspects of local life: three churches (Church Road Baptist, First Presbyterian, Methodist), two banks (First National Bank and Trust Company and Peoples Bank), a library (Sheboygan County Library), two schools (Shoreview High School and Sheboygan Area Technical College), four parks (Lakewood Park, Northshore Park, Eastshore Park, Southshore Park), and an ice rink (Nordic Ice Arena). Additionally, there are several small businesses that provide services such as home health care or pet sitting. Shoreview is known for its annual Apple Pie Festival which takes place on October 5th each year at Lakewood Park; it is also well-known for their pumpkin festival which takes place on November 3rd each year at Northshore Park; and their annual cheesefest which takes place on December 4th each year at Eastshore Park. Shoreview is a small town in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,569 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. The community was founded in 1894 by farmers from Illinois and Wisconsin who moved to what is now Shoreview because of its fertile soil and mild climate. In 1904, the population hit 2,000 and in 1920 it reached 4,000 people. By 1930 there were 10 schools in Shoreview and over 50 businesses. The Great Depression led to a decrease in population until World War II when Shoreview grew quickly again due to the war effort. During the war years, many residents left for various reasons such as jobs or military service; however, most returned after the war ended. In 1960 Shoreview became a city with its own government and services within city limits while still remaining annexed by Ramsey County between 1950-1980s during which time it had a total population of just under 575 people After 1980s when county officials decided that cities should have their own governing bodies they annexed back into county coffers As of 2010 there are only 155 residents living within city limits as well as 100 residents living within Stinson Beach which is also included within city boundaries

The area that would become Shoreview was part of the Dakota Territory at its creation in 1876. In 1885, the city of Minneapolis was founded on the shoreline of Lake Superior. By 1890, Shoreview had a population of around 50 people and was home to a small brewery and a few stores. In 1912, when Minnesota became a US state, Shoreview became part of Hennepin County. In 1930, it incorporated as a city. In 1951, it united with neighboring Minneapolis to form one municipality. The city has grown steadily since then and by 2008 had a population of over 100,000 people. Today's skyline features many tall buildings including two major universities - University of Minnesota Duluth (UNM) andMinnesota State University-Twin Cities (MSU-TC). One notable landmark in town is Normandale Plaza which overlooks the lake and contains two large movie theaters as well as several restaurants and cafes.
