The Minnesota Air National Guard (MNG) is one of the nation's air forces. Established on February 14, 1920, it was the first military establishment in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area and has been a vital part of Minnesotan society ever since. In 1947, the MNG became an independent service and changed its name to the Minnesota Air National Guard (MANG). The ANG is headquartered at Rosemount Municipal Airport in Rosemount,MN., but units are stationed throughout ruralMinnesota as well. In 1970, after World War II ended with Japan's surrender and Germany's absorption into NATO, it became clear thatair travel would become increasingly important for defense purposes. Accordingly, Congress passed legislation authorizing the creation of an air force separate from the Army and Navy under the command of anaeronautical officer general with headquarters at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. This act created what is now known asthe Minnesota Air National Guard (MNG). Since inception, MNG aviation has played a vital role in statewide defense patrols and operations against terrorism threats both domestically and abroad. The ANG has also contributed invaluably to many wars fought by our country during recent history including two world conflicts; Operation Desert Storm andOperation Iraqi Freedom. In 2013-2014 MNG lost one flying member due to illness; however this did not impact our overall mission or capability as we continue to operate under Title 10 United States Code Chapter 106 which authorizes organized militia activity within government boundaries when acting in support of law enforcement or national security efforts

These men were among the first settlers in what would become Rosemount township. They started out as farmers but soon shifted their focus to agriculture because they believed that farming would provide them with access to more land than manufacturing could offer. Over time, other families followed suit and rose up through the ranks within this pioneer community. Today, there are only a few residents living inRosemount Township (population: 3), while most people live within minutes' walk or drive of either downtown Duluth or Hibbing respectively. This limited population size is due largely to two factors: 1) high levels of unemployment throughout all parts of Ramsey County; 2) lack thereof – especially among younger generations – towards city life overall

Rosemount is a small town in the state of Minnesota, located about 15 miles south-southwest of Minneapolis. The population was 582 at the 2010 census. It lies within the Cedar County area and is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Rosemount was founded in 1881 by farmers from Norway and Sweden who had moved to this area during the early 1800s. At its peak, Rosemount had a population of 1,500 people and was known for its cranberry sauce (a type of apple sauce), cheese, potatoes, eggs, butter and flour products. However, after World War II the population plummeted as many farmers left for other parts of America or went into retirement. Today, most residents are involved in agriculture or personal services such as driving trucks or working at local businesses. The first settlement in what is now Rosemount was called Stillwater on the banks ofthe Little River where today's downtown stands. In 1881 John Fetterman built a farm here which he named Fettermansville after his father-in-lawMikael Fetherman who helped him purchase it from Clearwater Township trustees when they ceded their land to Cedar County in 1872. In 1883 Hvevard Sverdrup arrived here with his family from Denmark and started trading goods with Indians on our river near present day Maple Grove before coming downriver to set up shop at what is now old Hastings Mill on White Earth Creek north of town limits back then too! In 1886 Rev John Wickersham established an academy here which still exists today as Dakota Wesleyan University! After another boom period during World War I (1914 – 1945) when Ulysses S Grant became President due to large Polish American donations that year (& many others since then), things slowed down until the late 1960s when there were only a few families living hereabouts & development started anew! Most notably Stonington’s Mills began operation beginning in 1969 which manufactured corn gluten meal for variousMinnesota food processors like Kellogg & Quaker Oats starting up around that time! But overall though there has been growth throughout these years it has always been more around transportation than anything else!! Nowadays if you want some history you can go out on Main Street between First Avenue N&W & Third Street NW & take a look at those historical buildings dating back over 100 years including one handcrafted log cabin complete with kitchenette!!!
