Coffee is a drink that has been enjoyed by humans for over 4,000 years. The bean that is used to make coffee was first grown in Ethiopia. In the early 1800s, coffee beans were shipped to Europe and America. At that time, it was believed that coffee would help improve mental clarity and memory. In 1824, a man named James Kapp set up a business in Plymouth, Minnesota, which provided coffee to people in the area. Kapp's business became one of the largest in the area. After James Kapp's death, his son John continued the family business. John Kapp's son ran the company until World War II when it was bought by Jello Bickel who then merged it with his company Pabst Brewing Company. Over time, many different companies have owned and operated Jello Bickel Coffee Company including Peet's Coffee & Donuts (2007-present), Dunkin'Donuts Corporation (1948-2008), Starbucks Corporation (2006-present), Dutch Bros. Coffee (1965-2001) and Sam Adams Brewery (1920-1997). Many of these companies have made their mark on Plymouth through their products or services. One of the most popular items produced by Jello Bickel Coffee Company is called "Plymouth Cream" which is a blend of two types of beans - Arabica beans from Peru and Robusta beans from Italy - together they produce an intense cup of coffee with a rich flavor profile loved by many! One important note about this type of cream: It must be prepared according to package instructions before serving; otherwise it will not be compatible with some machines! This rich flavor can also result in strange smells if not properly handled! Allied troops stationed at nearby Fort Snelling fought beside each other during World War II and many soldiers brought back cups of Joe while they were on deployment! Plymouth is located in the state of Minnesota, about an hour and a half north of Minneapolis. The population was 8,821 at the 2010 census. Plymouth is one of five towns in Ramsey County, which includes Minneapolis and St. Paul. The town started as a small farming community that developed around the Plymouth Mills (now known as the Plymouth Mall) on the border of Plymouth and Maple Grove. The first store opened in 1881 and the first post office was established in 1885. By 1910, there were 11 stores and two churches in Plymouth. In 1915, a company named Gulf saw fit to promote a new grain elevator on Highway 61 in downtown Plymouth with plans to ship corn from various farms into Superior for processing into flour and feed products. This project led to increased business for the Merchants Bank on State Street and helped spur growth throughout much of ruralMinnesota during World War I. During World War II, local paper manufacturer Hennepin Paper Products began expanding its operations through purchasing mills across southeastern Minnesota; this included acquiring the former Jolliffe mill near Plymouth plant site in 1944-45 when it closed due to wartime restrictions on paper production by Axis countries. In 1951, Hennepin merged with United States Paper Company (USPC) which had been founded two years earlier by two sets of brothers – George Hayhurst USP & his brother Walter – who became CEO/president USPC until his death in 1971 after a long career at PCUSA which spanned over 50 years beginning with their early days working together at Hennepin Paper Products when they were just kids! When Walter's son John took over as president emeritus USPCC six years ago he inherited an organization that has now grown more than 350 employees strong (plus marketing function) with interests ranging from pulp printing to advanced composites materials development! Atwater’s Millinery will close its doors next year after more than fifty years being an important part of our community life hereabouts!

In 1912, Nestle founded La Caza Coffee Roasters in California to produce quality coffees for export. This led to La Caza becoming one of the largest roasters in the world. In 1971, Starbucks opened its first store in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. This made Starbucks one of the premier retailers of Kopi Luwak ( uniquely created Sumatra-based coffee). The company has continued expanding into new markets throughout history with operations now located in more than 60 countries worldwide!
