Gourmet Coffee is a History that has been around for over 50 years. The first gourmet coffee store was opened in Lakeville, Minnesota in 1976 by brothers Bob and Dick Heineman. Gourmet Coffee became a popular brand in the Twin Cities area because of their unique blend of roasts and grinds. Today, Gourmet Coffee can be found throughout the United States. In addition to their stores, the company also produces its own line of coffee products, including ground coffee and espresso drinks. Their roast types include Sumatra Java, Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Colombian Supremo and Papua New Guinea Baked Beans. In 1978, Gourmet Coffee moved its operations from Minneapolis to St. Paul after purchasing a building at University Avenue and Lyndale Road. Today, Gourmet Coffee is located within walking distance of many local businesses as well as Northwestern State University’s School of Business Administration on Lyndale Road which provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn about business administration while enjoying some delicious gourmet coffee!

Lakeville is a town in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. It lies on the north bank of the White River and is bordered to the east by Maple Grove and to the west by Cottonwood Heights. The community was organized in 1881 and named for George W. Lake, who had bought land in what is now town. The first post office was established in 1883. The first school was built in 1886 and it served as both a one-room schoolhouse and a general store until 1912 when it became a high school. The current high school was built in 1978 and replaced an earlier building that served as an elementary school from 1906 until 1948. According to the 2000 census, there are also two villages within driving distance of Lakeville: Maple Grove to the south and Cottonwood Heights to the north. These villages have either no buildings or only very small structures used for social activities such as stores or restaurants respectively; they are not considered part of town proper because their boundaries do not meet those of Lakeville proper

Lakeville, Minnesota is a small town in central Minnesota that has been inhabited by the Chippewa people for over a thousand years. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Lakeville were French military officers who explored the area during the late 1700s. They named the area after La Salle, an Italian Jesuit priest who had visited the Midwest in 1674. The first settlers of Lakeville arrived around 1854, and it became a community of about hundred people. It was incorporated as a municipality in 1873. Today, Lakeville has a population ofabout 950 people and it is located within the Ramsey County sheriff’s office. The town was once known for its lumber industry, but it has since declined because of competition from more recent settlements in neighboring counties. Municipalities have played an important role in local government throughout Minnesota history. In 1987, Lakeville became one of twenty-five municipalities through process called “organic growth” which allowed newly formed municipalities to operate without state aid for two years while they developed their own policies and procedures. This policy helped improve municipal governance and contributed to the success of other new communities such as Shakopee and Maple Grove.
In 1881, Minnesota Territory was established and the town of Lakeville was named after its location on the disputed border between Minnesota and Iowa. In 1895, the town became a city and in 1912, it amalgamated with neighboring communities of Maple Grove and Newton to form the city of Minneapolis.
