The Coast Guard has been in Lakeville since 1912. The first station was built on the Coyote Creek waterfront. The present day Coast guard station is located at 101 N 2nd Ave, Suite 205. It is one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the area and it has played a critical role in keeping our community safe since 1912. While there have been many changes to the coast guard in recent years, their mission remains unchanged: protect our waterways and coastline from dangers such as drugs, gangs, piracy, and terrorism. In addition to their work at the station, members of the Coast Guard also provide emergency services through boats and helicopters when needed. Today, Lakeville’s coast guard is responsible for providing law enforcement services on both land and water with a strength that reaches all corners of the community. They are an important part of Lakeville’s community who help keep us safe every day!

Lakeville is a small town in the United States. It is located in Isanti County, Minnesota, and has a population of around 1500. The area that now makes up Lakeville was first settled by Germans in the mid 1800s. In 1907, the town was named after Julius Kapp, an American investor who had donated land to the community. The name stuck and as of 2003, there were still people living in Lakeville who were born or raised in Kappstown, Pennsylvania. Lakeville is known for its annual pumpkin festival which takes place on October 17th and 18th each year. The event features local vendors selling pumpkins along with entertainment from local bands and speakers. In addition to the pumpkin festival, Lakeville also has a corn maze which visitors can explore during fall season. The town also contains a variety of businesses including several restaurants, a grocery store, and two banks- one of which is locally owned. As well as being home to several cultural attractions such as the Julius Kapp Museum which focuses on American culture from before World War II to present day, and the Lakeshore Puppet Theatre which offers performances throughout the year.

In 1951, Congress amended Title 10 United States Code Section 321 et seq., which states “the coast guard may make grants or donations emergency relief supplies including foodstuffs and clothing to protect people from natural disasters” This amendment set up what is now known as The Coast Guard/National Aeronautics and Space Administration Grant program. Grants are given based on need not quantity; however, at least 50% must be used for maritime emergencies only! A Smithsonian Institution article about this grant program noted that “gift giving has long been a tradition among many Americans—both those who serve in uniform and those who don't” It wasn't until 1985 when President Ronald Reagan signed into law The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which stated that all members state organizations were required to establish policies pertaining to gift giving within their respective organizations! Since its inception in 1951, The Coast Guard/National Aeronautics and Space Administration Grant program has awarded more than $2 billion dollars! Of this amount, almost 60% has gone towards projects relating to maritime safety! Items awarded under this grant program have included 11 decommissioned Navy ships along with over 20 airplanes! It should be noted that not all gifts received under this grant program are suitable for display within museums or private collections due to their nature asEmergency Relief Supplies such as foodstuffs and clothing

Lakeville is a town in Polk County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 10,471 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Lakeville was founded by Norwegian immigrants in 1854 and named after an Ottawa River tributary, Lakevilleriksen. In 1874 it became a city and was renamed to its current name of Lakeville after nearby Fort Snelling. In the early days of the 20th century, Lakeville was one of the most solidly rural areas in Minnesota. The town's only industry was lumbering and milling until World War II when the economy shifted toHeavy manufacturing during post-war boom years led to rapid growth in population and development in what had been a sleepy hamlet into one of the most bustling communities in Minnesotan history. The present day downtown can be traced back to 1906 when developers erected what would become known as "The Gables" on land that once housed two small frame churches which were joined together at their base forming what is now Main Street between Second and Third Streets South (now West Seventh Street). At first glance this look might reflect basic architecture common at that time but upon closer inspection one may note how some unusual features were incorporated such as an Ionic colonnade from which emerge three stories high with paired Corinthian columns at each intersection - something not found elsewhere on similar urban properties then or since - typical examples being found near today's Best Buy Super Center on Plymouth RoadSouthwest corner Dayton Avenueand Target across First Avenue North (later west side First Avenue East). One could also mention how much later additions like Fenton Place added even more luxury including indoor skiing operations operated out of Tillson Hall located just east of downtown while other businesses like Lumberjack convenience Store & Eatery opened up along what are now Plymouth Road Southwest corner Ziegler Road.(the business currently occupies space now occupied by Lowe’s) Eventually this eclectic mix would lead to what we know today as downtown with its grand Main Street facade still standing although storefronts have been replaced by apartments or condos over time
Lakeville was founded in 1847 by Alexander McNaught and his wife, Catherine. In 1851, it was named after the Minnesota River. The city of Lakeville was platted in 1865 and became a major railroad town. It had an population of over 100,000 by 1907. The city was destroyed in a fire in 1911 and has not been rebuilt since.
