The history of coffee in Forest Lake, Minnesota goes back to the early 1800s. One of the earliest cafes in Forest Lake was founded by Nicholas Roederer in 1825. The Roederer Cafe was a popular spot for locals and visitors to gather around a large fire on the main square. Coffee was also served inside the cafe from its inception. Over time, other cafes and businesses joined the Roederer Cafe as it became an important stop for residents and visitors alike. In 1951, Forest Lake's first grocery store opened up next door to the cafe, making it one of the most prominent businesses in town. By 1970, there were six cafes and restaurants in Forest Lake with over 100 customers each day! During this time, coffee beans were hand-picked by employees of these businesses and sold fresh or ground into coffee products. Today, many of these same businesses still operate withinForestLakeandcontinuetoproducehighqualitycoffeeforourcommunityandtheworld!

The first coffee beans were brought to Forest Lake by H.J. Ackerman in 1892. The town was founded on the banks of the Mississippi River, and early residents grew coffee trees and roasted the beans. In 1907, Forest Lake became one of the first towns in Minnesota to allow grocery stores to sell coffee. The town continued to grow as a center for coffee trading and production until World War II when demand for military training ground beans dwindled. Coffee production recommenced after the war but faded in popularity because of rising costs associated with better-quality beans from other countries. In the mid-1980s, forest lake beganimporting better quality Arabica beans from Colombia, which helped revive the local industry. As of 2013, Forest Lake is still home to one of Minnesota's largest roasting centers for Arabica coffeebeans
Forest Lake is a small town in the Canadian province of Manitoba. The population was 5,812 at the 2016 census. Forest Lake is located on the John F. Kennedy River and is bordered by the towns of La Ronge to the north and east, Fort Garry to the south, and Emerson to the west. The name "Forest Lake" was given to it by local farmers who used to gather trees for firewood in their forested area. The first settler in Forest Lake was Mrs. Laughlin in 1892. In 1899, Mr. Beattie purchased land adjacent to what is now ForestLake Elementary School from J.D Armstrong for $1,000 CAD; this land became known as Beavercreek Township after Beavercreek Creek ran through it. In 1904, Allen Gritsland built a sawmill on Deer creek next to his farm which continued until 1951 when it closed due to pollution problems caused by its use of coal mine dust as an abrasive material in its sawing operations; however, part of it still stands today as a museum called "Gritsland Museum". In 1916, Mr. McDougall bought about two-thirds of all of what is now Village Park from Aiken Wills for $2,500 CAD; this area became known as Pembina Township after Pembina Creek ran through it (Pembina County). In 1949, Village Park was annexed into Forest Lake and became part of that town's community services department; however, much of that park remains separate from the rest of ForestLake today and can only be visited with special permission from town officials or during special events such as its annual pumpkin festival or family day.) The village center buildings were completed in 1922 but were not used until 1957 when they were made available for public use when ForestLake High School opened nearby on Maple Street; these buildings remain today as part of the high school's student union building complex named after them (the current high school building replaced a wooden schoolhouse which burned down in 1944). A large mill pond near where later Beavercreek Elementary School sits served both village center functions (for storage water) and also functioned as a municipal landfill between 1958-1966 when Cook County erected an embankment around it using funds provided by Ottawa County following their amalgamation with Manitoba into Canada; these days you can see remnants of this mill pond lying off road just south side exit onto Highway 6 just past Turner Road.).

Forest Lake is a small town located in Ramsey County, Minnesota. The population was 1,481 at the 2000 census. Forest Lake is named after the forest that surrounds it and contains many of the same trees as found in the surrounding woods. The first settler in Forest Lake was Elisha Dodge. In 1868, Dodge established a cabin at present day Forest Lake and raised chickens for food. In 1872, Dodge and his wife constructed a store on Main Street in what is now Forest Lake. The first post office was opened in Forest Lake on December 7, 1872. By 1912, there were fifteen businesses operating in Forest Lakes- twelve of which are still in business today including two banks- one grocery store and one lumberyard. From its beginnings as an agricultural community, forest lake has become a center for retail businesses providing services such as insurance, real estate brokerage, online shopping and more.
Forest Lake was founded in 1851 by George Robertson. It became a town in 1866, and was renamed Forest City in 1912. The town had its peak population of 150 people in the 1920s. In 1945, the United States government closed down most of the nuclear plants in Minnesota, which led to a decrease in population at Forest Lake. The town then declined until it reached its current low point of around 10 people in the late 1990s.
