Today, the company produces a wide variety of roasted beans, iced drinks, espresso drinks, pastries and other goods.
The Fairmont community is located in the Township of Chaska, Minnesota. The population was 3,343 at the 2000 census. The community is part of the Minneapolis-St.Paul metropolitan area and has a strong cultural and economic ties to that area. Fairmont began as a small town on the edge of Chaska, Minnesota. It grew rapidly during World War II as businesses were created to support the war effort. By 1950, Fairmont had reached its peak population and was home to a Carnegie Library and many other important civic institutions. However, during the 1960s and 1970s, Fairmont experienced rapid growth due to development within Chaska itself and from related businesses outside of the township boundaries. This growth led to increased congestion on local streets and limited access for residents to basic services such as schools, transportation, grocery stores, or water supplies. In recent years there have been efforts by some members of the community to redevelop portions of Fairmont into more cohesive units with similar features while preserving its historical values.

Fairmont, Minnesota is a small town located in Ramsey County,Minnesota. The population was 105 at the 2000 census. Fairmont has been inhabited by Native American people for over 350 years and has been part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area since its incorporation as a city in 1856. The first settlers to Fairmont were Norwegian immigrants who arrived in 1849. They built a log cabin on the current site of Fairmont High School which still stands today. TheNorwegian immigrants had many children and they all became farmers or ranchers. One of the first businesses in the community was a general store run by Ole Christiansen and his son, Lars Andersen, from 1872-1875. soon after, another store opened up called The Gopher Store by John Fetterman and his wife Clara Fetterman (née Healey). In 1896, the Fetterman family sold their business to Harland Wirths who operated it until 1919 when he sold it to Averill Crouse who operated it until 1933 when he sold it to Harry Hargrave who operated it until 1958 when he closed it down because of health problems. In 1898, two brothers named Abel and Augustus Engel started a grocery store on Second Street which continued operation until 1924 when they bought out their brother’s business partners Edward Sorenson and Emmet Olson. In 1928, Mr. Engel donated land near what is now Central Avenue for use as an agricultural college that would later become Fairmount University (now known as Minneapolis Community College). This donation was one of the largest single contributions ever made to any educational institution in Minnesota at that time! From 1928-1938 there were also three churches operating within Fairmont: First Baptist Church (which is still active), Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (which merged with United Methodist Temple in 1978) & PresbyterianChurch (later PCA Evangelistic Lutheran Church). All three churches contributed some money towards building construction which took place between 1929-1938 including Drury Chapel clubhouse across from First Baptist Church which was finished in 1938; Holm Gymnasium/ girls high school where classes began in 1927; and Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Parish Chapel which served as primary services for both First Baptist Church & Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church from 1938-1964 (& briefly again from 1965-1978) During this time period many new homes were built throughout town including what is now South Plaza Drive while many old homes were rehabilitated or restored such as Pioneer Hall which served as library & auditorium during these years It wasn’t all good news though! In early 1951 Chas Chandler lost his job with United Steelworkers Local No.[REDACTED] sohe organized himself into “the strikers” along with other local businessmen forming “United Steelworkers Local 4952” seeking higher wages and better working conditions inside their company instead of going on strike against their employer Eventually United Steelworkers Local 4952 voted no confidence against Chas Chandler but ultimately allowed him back into work without any further issues however this did not stop other businesses from leaving Fairmount due tohis organizing efforts . After four long years of turmoil at home & work finally things calmed down around here & we decided to take our vacations !! We went out West once again but nothing really happened back East despite giving lots OF talks about how things should be done
Fairmont was founded in 1872 by A.J. Fairmont, a landowner and businessperson. The town grew rapidly during the 19th century, becoming an important transportation and commercial center for the region. In 1929, Fairmont became a city, and has since grown into one of the most vibrant communities in southeastern Minnesota. Today, Fairmont is home to many local businesses and cultural institutions, as well as some of the largest shopping districts in the area.
