In order to produce fresh roasted coffee, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBT) company takes the best quality beans from these trees and roast them right here in their factory. The process of roasting begins by crushing the beans with a large millstone. Then, they are heated until they turn light brown and start to smell like espresso. Next, they are put into small baskets called pouches and placed in an oven that is known as the “bake” zone. This zone temperatures the beans until they reach their perfect level of heat before being transferred to a large metal vat known as the “carafe”. Fairmont is a small town in the Saint Cloud County, Minnesota region. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Fairmont was founded in 1857 as a post office and has since been known for its wide variety ofindustries including agriculture, manufacturing, and forestry. The name "Fairmont" comes from the Norse word "Fárheimr", meaning "farmstead". The first settlers to Fairmont were farmers who arrived in 1857 from Denmark. In 1870, a sawmill and grist mill were built on the current site of Fairmont High School; these mills became significant economic factors in Fairmount's growth during both early 19th century and late 20th century periods. A cotton gin was built on Third Road in 1912; this facility produced point-of-sale (POS) tickets for local merchants which helped promote agricultural products throughout the Twin Cities area. By 1925, however, most textile production had moved to South Dakota due to technological advances in spinning machines that made it possible to produce textiles without having to share land with other crops or animals). In 1925, Fairmount voters passed an ordinance authorizing a library system which would be funded by assessments levied against property owners within fairmount borders. On July 15th of that year, construction began on what would become one of downtown St Cloud's most important institutions - the first public library west of Chicago - named after Judge Augustus Bedingfield Chisholm (1824-1912), St Cloud's founder and first mayor (1860-1865). The building opened its doors on November 3rd, 1926; it served as our Town Hall until 1978 when it was replaced by our present Main Library building on First Street SE. During World War II years 1941 through 1945 Fairmount experienced some unprecedented growth due primarily to wartime demand for lumber and farm supplies brought about by military buildups throughout North America including Fort Snelling – now Minneapolis – Duluth – St John’s Rapids – now Rochester – Thief River Falls etc.; all while remaining largely self-sufficient with limited imported goods available outside wartime markets [1]. Additionally much fiberglass/cement manufacture took place near Rochester as postwar technology allowed for increased use of natural gas instead of woodfired ovens for heating buildings… thus creating what we today call “Rochester Manufacturing District” characterized by high levels of productivity across many industries dating back before World War II [2]. Unfortunately following WWII many factories closed due either to economic competition from evergreen Western manufacturers or new technologies such as plastics which replaced traditional materials used in fiberglass/cement production [3], leaving behind large numbers jobsless residents unable to find good paying jobs outside their homes leadingTo social unrest often violently expressed through protests & looting…. Notwithstanding all this negative news Braxton Fenton embarked upon a comprehensive plan designed specifically To improve conditions For All Residents And Businesses within Our Municipality titled “A New Era For Fairmont” later renamed “Vision 2030″ However despite every effort he made very little changed occurred beyond sheer inertia & apathy until recently…..
