Southfield has a rich history dating back to its founding as an agricultural village surrounding an Indian trading post called Sibley's Corners12 years ago today! From here our ancestors started farming their land and building their homes; some 4 score years ago! Our township formed from portions of Wayne and Shiawassee Counties on Oct 12th 1894! Today we continue this proud tradition with new construction which continues to reflect our heritage whileamenities modernize us daily!
