The Michigan Air National Guard's Blue Angels aerobatics team, also known as the "Dirty Dozen," has deployments across the United States every other year. This year, they will be in Roseville, Michigan for a summer tour. This deployment is unique in that it features air show performances and inspections of an airport. Roseville is a town located in the U.S. state of Michigan, on the banks of the Rouge River. The population was 5,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kalamazoo-Portage metropolitan area and is included in the Flint–Warren–Oakland, MI Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community began as a small farming village in 1866 when settlers from Illinois moved into what is now Roseville Township. The name "Rouge" comes from a river that flows through town and refers to the red sandstone that makes up much of the landscape. In 1872, white men discovered an oil well near present day Rosesville and developed it into a drilling site known as "the Well". By 1880, companies had come to Rosesville with plans to exploit this new find, but only two families remained here until 1903 when land was sold for industrial purposes and Rosesville became an incorporated municipality. The first post office in Rosesville was established on July 1, 1868; it served as the interchange between rural communities east of Lansing and those west of Roseville until 1895 when it was discontinued because there were no mail coaches available between Lansing and Roseville anymore. In 1911, John Ritchie opened his paper mill in RosesVILLE which quickly became one of Michigan's leading producers of paper products including headlines for newspapers such as "The Detroit News", "Detroit Daily Times", "The Grand Rapids Press" and others before ceasing operations in 1945 due to war production restrictions. During World War II local residents mobilized to help build munitions plants throughout Michigan while also working their farms during Nazi occupation; many residents are still buried within military cemeteries nearby today. After V-E Day (9/11/1945), rosesVILLE reverted back to its pre-war status with most people returning home shortly thereafter; however some did stay behind for work at local factories until early 1951 when they all left again due to newly implemented wartime rationing regulations which severely limited manufacturing opportunities outside Detroit or other major cities. Due largely to increasing competition from other manufacturers heading into steel production during postwar years,[1] rosesVILLE experienced mass layoffs beginning around 1951[2] although various short-term efforts were made over that period by both management and labor unions alike (euphemistically called retraining programs) to provide temporary jobs during dreary times[3]. However even these meager attempts not only failed but resulted in large numbers of workers being returned immediately back into category 2 & 3 employment levels after little more than 12 months’ training – essentially becoming second class citizens once again unable ever reallyto escape poverty or social stigma attached thereto despite having worked very hard for their living prior thereto . These conditions led directly to increased crime rates within town limits beginning around 1955[4], culminating ultimately with violence breaking out among these “displaced persons” culminating finally with curfew enforcement measures being instituted by city officials upon learning about ongoing disorder within certain social housing units circa 1965 . This effectively ended any hope remaining for reversing course or ameliorating long term issues resulting from previous government neglect - setting off another decadelong cycle where inequality continued unabated despite numerous public pronouncements promising otherwise

Roses were first grown in Roseville in the late 1800s, but only became popular in the early 1900s when local farmers began selling roses at markets. By 1910, roses had become a major industry in Roseville. The town continued to grow through the years, with new buildings being built up along Elm Street and other streets. In 1933, Roseville was incorporated as a municipality.
