The shop was located on State Road 7, just east of I-75. The business continued to operate until 1984 when it closed due to the recession. However, the Kapps reopened their business in 1990 and continue to operate it until this day. In 1992, Jerry Martini opened his own artisan coffee shop called Jerry's Coffee House. The store continued to operate until 1994 when it closed again due to the recession. However, Martini reopened his business in 1995 and continues to operate it ever since. In 2006, Kevin Dyer opened his own artisan coffee shop called Kevin's Coffee House & Cafe which continued to operate until 2009 when it also closed due to the recession. However, Dyer reopened his business in 2010 and continues to operate it today. Artsycoffee is a company that operates two locations within walking distance of each other - one on Ridgeway Avenue near Saginaw Charter School and another on Woodward Avenue near Midway Airport. Artsycoffee began operations in 2009 as an online only roastery with six roastmasters who hand-selectedbeans from over seventy origins around the world for their espresso drinks and Latte Artisanos (a latte made with artichoke hearts). In 2013 they opened a physical location at 5202 Ridgeway Ave., Suite 103 in East Lansing Township; this new location continues operations as both an online only roastery as well as a physical café serving pastries such as croissants, doughnuts, bagels etc…. Their goal is always simple: provide delicious espresso drinks at reasonable prices with talented baristas who want nothing more than making you feel like a king or queen!

Rochester Hills, Michigan is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Washtenaw County. The population was 53,643 at the 2010 census, making it the 11th largest city in Michigan and the second-largest city in Washtenaw County after Detroit. It is also the eighth most populous municipality in Michigan. The Rochester Hills metropolitan area has a population of over 100,000 people and includes all of Washtenaw County as well as parts of Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties. Rochester Hills is part of the Detroit–Warren–Dearborn Combined Statistical Area (CSA). The first Europeans to visit what is now Rochester Hills were French traders who landed on Long Island Sound in 1624 and 1625 during their voyages from Montreal. They named this place Hennepin River because they saw an American Eagle flying overhead on September 8, 1625. Jesuit missionaries arrived here about 1710 with Father Jacques Marquette and founded L’Assumption College for Native Americans on October 3rd; it became Xavier University in 1881 before becoming Brown University in 1912. The first post office opened here on December 12th, 1834; it was renamed Southwood after James Southwood who donated land for it. In 1875 John Fenton built his flour mill on White Road just east of present-day North Avenue; he named it Fenton Mills after himself and his wife Ann (Fenton) Henshawe-Dixon. In 1898 William McKinley was inaugurated president of the United States; he attended a reception at Fenton Mills where he tasted flour made from wild rye that had been grown near Grand Rapids by Jesse James Laughlin III. This led to McKinley favors for Laughlin's new mill which commenced production that year – including an appropriation for $15 million to be used towards building a new plant located southwest of town along Mound Road 666 (later known as I-94). In 1907 J P Morgan & Co., predecessor to Chase National Bank merged with another bank called First National Bank branches were added throughout northwestern Michigan so that banks could consolidate operations under one roof without fear of national banking competition; this happened concurrently with other mergers throughout America which resulted in increased efficiency within business organizations while reducing duplication among companies.. A large gasoline refinery complex was begun operation on Mackinac Island overlooking Superior Bay southeast of town circa 1920s but stopped production due to environmental concerns although some remains remain today adjacent to Evergreen Park Golf Course off Western Boulevard north sideof town - see photo below right: During World War II both Chrysler plants were located here - one producing jeeps while another produced tanks: After war ended industry slowly declined however by 1970 there were only 10 businesses left operating outtown compared to more than 2000 businesses downtown according as recent photos show below: Today many local businesses have closed down such as Sears Holdings Roebuck & Co.; JanSportUSA Inc.; Ford Racing LLC;; Welland Glass Corporation;; Grosse Pointe Farms Shopping Center;;;; Wixom Mini Mall etc.:

Rochester Hills is a city in Wayne County, Michigan, United States. The population was 26,651 at the 2010 census. It lies just south of Detroit on the median line between the cities of Detroit and Flint. Rochester Hills is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area. The city began as a farming community around 1800 and was named after Rochester, New York in 1786. The first white settlers arrived in 1824 and built a log cabin on what is now Elmira Road. In 1830, they founded a milltown called Prospect Heights which became an important center for dairy production and commerce. In 1881, the city moved from its original location to its current location on M-57 east of downtown Detroit to take advantage of new railroad opportunities. Railroads helped spur economic development in Rochester Hills which reached its peak during World War II when it became one of four American industrial centers producing munitions for the war effort. After the war ended, industry declined but growth continued until 2000 when Barack Obama won an upset victory over John McCain in the U.S presidential election that created political turbulence across Great Lakes states.. After Obama's inauguration, investment picked up as businesses brought jobs back to town with plans to build more homes and businesses along Elmira Road and other streets that had been vacated by factories during post-war years. Today there are more than 100 businesses based in Rochester Hills including many large employers such as Ford Motor Company and Kelloggs Incorporated who have advanced research laboratories there as well as numerous small companies doing various services related to technology or health care.. A key factor behind recent prosperity has been strong public education within reach for all residents through sustained funding from local government; this has included support from both Democratic (Mayor John Hieftje)and Republican (Councilwoman Sally Kempton) administrations alike throughout their terms since 2002/2003 - enabling meaningful engagement with citizens via open forum meetings/comment periods mandated by City Charter Revision Ordinance #2 .
