Ethiopian coffee has been enjoyed by people all over the world for centuries and it is now one of the most popular types of coffee. This coffee is made from beans that were roasted in a difficult and inspected environment, which means that they are high-quality and consistent. Mount Pleasant was once a small town in Michigan, but it has since become a thriving city with a rich history. The community was founded by two families who were interested in growing Coffee. They brought their own plants back to Mount Pleasant and started roasting their own beans. The first African American to work at Mount Pleasant Coffee Company was James Fenton, who worked there from 1920 until his retirement in 1978. He helped start the company as an intern and then became its CEO. The history of Mount Pleasant Coffee Company goes back much further than this! The company was actually founded by three men: David Garrison, John Trowbridge, and John Waddell. David Garrison had some experience working with tea plants and decided to start developing coffee bushes himself. He named his company after his home town – Mount Pleasant, Michigan – because he thought that this place would be a great place to grow coffee beans because of its unique climate conditions (the soil here is very deep). John Trowbridge also joined forces with Garrison in trying to get started on developing a business model for selling café drinks as well as nuts, seeds, flour, soapstone products, books about natural health remedies… whatever else they could produce! This group eventually became known as the Garrison Gang because they were so productive! They managed to get their first café open within six months of each other (in 1868), which shows how successful they were at starting their own business! It wasn’t until 1915 that Cadillac Coffee Corporation came into existence and began selling roasted Ethiopia beans direct to consumers instead of through David Garrison’s company; however, Cadillac still refers to themselves as “The Garrison Gang” today. In 1917 King George V visited America and met with several businessmen who had invested in British-owned Detroit car companies such as General Motors Corporation (GM) . One of these businessmen was Gustavus Seifert (later Gustavus Seifert II), who tasted some Ethiopian coffees offered for sale by GM executives . After tasting these delicious Beans he purchased them from David Garrison for $1 per pound . At this time Ethiopia only produced 2 million pounds per year so GM made an investment worth over $500 thousand dollars just based on buying Ethiopian coffee! This shows how important Ethiopia's cultivation status was during this time period; if it wasn't for Ethiopia's production then GM would not have been able to make such an investment without knowing exactly what we were getting ourselves into! In 1941 Ford Motor Company purchased Cadillac Coffee Corporation for $15 million dollars making them oneof the largest bean buyers ever!!! Mount Pleasant is a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The population was 1,746 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Muskegon Heights Micropolitan Statistical Area. Mount Pleasant is located on the east side of Muskegon Lake and west of Big Rapids. The first Europeans to visit Mount Pleasant were French traders who journeyed upriver from Ottawa in 1796. They named the village after Maurice de Montmorency, 5th Duke of Normandy, who had been dispatched by King George II to survey lands along the lower Straits of Mackinac River in what is now Michigan Territory. Although early settlers included Father Abraham Smith and his family, settlement increased when John Burr began importing land from Canada in 1807 and building a sawmill at present-day Mount Pleasant. In 1824, General James Kyes purchased 640 acres (250 hectares) northeast of present-day Mount Pleasant from Adam Siltanen for $1 per acre. This site became known as Kyes Park during his time as governor of Michigan Territory. In 1840, John Dibble established a gristmill on White Creek opposite present-day Mount Pleasant; this mill continued operating until 1957 when it was replaced by the current Millstream Gristmill which opened in 2009. Mountpleasant's most famous resident may be Gordon Lightfoot who spent his summers here while attending college at Western Michigan University near Kalamazoo in 1907-1908 while also performing music hall tours throughout Great Lakes region attached to itinerant shows across United States with local celebrities such as Buffalo Bill Cody and vaudeville pioneer Pepsi Cola Presents Jesse Lasky and His Montana Cowboys

In 1785, Swiss traveler Pierre-Jacques Conte traveled through South America and brought back plantslled coffee from Paraguay. Over time, various methods of roasting have been used for different purposes and variations of flavor have developed along with the use of beans from different countries or regions. In 1846, Englishman George Stephenson imported some Columbian cherries into London for his brother Richard Stephenson to roasted over an open fire at their home on Harley Street (now Horse Guards Road). This was the beginning of what is now known as espresso Turkish coffee. By 1870–71, machines had been invented that allowed French immigrants living in Paris to roast their own coffee on small scale. In Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the rich history of its people and place is undisputed. The community was founded in 1853 by John Goodrich and his family as a small settlement on the banks of the Ottawa River. By 1860, it had become an important trading post on the Ottawa- Detroit Railroad. In 1875, Goodrich donated land to make way for what would become Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The town's growth continued during the early days of World War I when many local businesses took advantage of wartime shortages to expand their operations. On July 16, 1918, 4 American soldiers were killed while patrolling the town limits when their vehicle overturned near Memorial Park. The tragedy led to increased security measures in Mount Pleasant and helped spur development in the town throughout the 1920s and 1930s. During World War II, Mount Pleasant became a major stop for American troops on their perilous cross-country missions into enemy territory. After hostilities ended in 1945, many of the town's residents moved out or were forced to leave due to economic constraints. However, over time those who remained have preserved much of their cultural heritage from that period in history. Overhead parking Lots at nearby schools continue to be used today as playgrounds for local elementary school children; these lots are now also home to a variety of agricultural equipment that has been used during recent years for quail hunting on adjoining property owned by Friends of Mount Pleasant Cemetery
