Fraser is a small town in the Muskegon Heights region of Michigan. It's located on the banks of the Muskegon River, about 15 miles east of Lansing and 25 miles west of Grand Rapids. The population was 2,899 at the 2010 census. The Fraser community was named for General Sir John Fraser who fought in the American Revolution. The primary economic activity in Fraser is farming, with crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat, rice and potatoes being grown. The village also has a couple businesses that provide services to its residents: a grocery store and an auto mechanic. The Village used to have two schools: one elementary school and one middle school. However, both schools were closed in 2001 due to financial problems and then reopened as part of a program that aimed to improve educational opportunities for local students. In addition to education, there are several cultural activities available including arts and crafts shows at the local theater complex as well as lectures by professors from area universities during summer breaks. The origins of espresso date back even further than Java – back at least 2600 BC when two Italian brothers named Augusto e Michele founded La Strada della Caffè(The Road To Coffee), an espresso parlour located near Piazza San Marco in Venice where they sold Egyptiantwitter broad beans called 'cappuccinos'.Augusto e Michele appears to have been the first Europeans to roast whole bean coffee rather than ground beans used for iced tea or coffee . After his death in 1290 his brother Niccolo took over his business but soon lost interest because he found grinders easier and less time consuming - probably because technology had improved since then ! In 1553 Emanuel Ungar who ran an olive oil refinery developed a machine called a percolator which allowed him to roast whole beans instead of using small filters like those used at present day! All this technological advance did not stop Nicholas Conrad von Shuckburgh from introducing new methods such as automatic brewers which increased production speed from six minutes per pound down to three minutes per pound!' Fraser, Michigan is a small town located in the Kalamazoo-Portage County area of Michigan. The population was 953 at the 2010 census. Fraser was founded in 1824 by Scotsmen and Englishmen who crossed the Straits of Mackinac to escape religious persecution in their home country. The town's name comes from Sir John Fraser, 1st Baronet, who donated land for the establishment of the town. The first settler in Fraser was Alexander Macintosh, who arrived in 1825. Macdonald father also settled there around this time. By 1830, there were five families living in Fraser: MacDonalds, Arthurs, Simpsons, Findlayes and Partridges. In 1835, Henry Richardson built a log cabin on what is now Main Street near present day Simpson Avenue. The first school in Fraser was built on this site in 1840 by Mrs. Jane Eliza Richardson (later renamed Mrs. Stroud). It taught children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old. There were also two churches functioning at this time: one Baptist and one Presbyterian/Church of Scotland which served both local residents and travelers passing through during those days. In 1845, James Irvine began farming about three miles southeast of present day Fraser on what is now State Road 231A (now mile marker 231B). He started out with a few acres but quickly developed into a successful farmer with over 100 acres today! His son James Irvine II continued his family's farm operation until 1922 when it merged with another family operated farm to form what is now called Irvine Farms Incorporated!. Many good people have made their homes here throughout its history including Annabelle Weir (the current owner) who immigrated as an infant; her grandparents had come to America from Scotland many years earlier! Today’s businesses within walking distance include all types of grocery stores as well as several restaurants/cafés!
