In 1971, Harry Smith Sr.'s grandson Harry Smith Jr., Jr.(HRS) purchased HRS Enterprises from his father-in-law Edwin Wolkowitz(EWO). At HRS Enterprises (later renamed PCS Corporation), they were responsible for developing marine gift products into one of America's largest toy companies with more than $1 billion in sales by 2002. At that time, much of the industry had been moved offshore to avoid war damage caused by shipwrecks or other problems with shipping logs ashore during storms or freezes.
