As Instant Coffee Bean Company began producing its own beans, it became clear that they needed to meet the needs of their customers fairly and fairly pricedly. This led to the development of the First World War – when demand for coffee skyrocketed due to wartime mobilization – and income restraints meant that these bean farmers didn’t have enough money to buy new machines or invest in better technology. With this technological advance came a new opportunity for those who wanted to sell their freshly roasted beans: direct-to-consumer sales became prevalent throughout America during this time period as businesses scrambled to stay afloat during an economic recession (1896). In response, Wijngaarden decided to open his own roast shop within walking distance of home so he could continue selling directly to consumers himself instead of through distributors (1902). In 1916, local entrepreneur George Vandenberg opened a small grocery store near downtown Grand Rapids called The Grapeseed Store (now known as M&M's Supermarket) because he saw an opportunity for developing new methods of marketing fresh-roasted beans outside traditional retail channels (Vandenberg 1915b). By 1921, The Grapeseed Store had become one ofGrandRapids’ premiere roasters while also becoming home base for many local musicians/vocalists such as Blind Willie Johnson and Joe Bonamassa whose music was recorded at nearby studios (Fowler 1981; Purdy 1993; Weiser 2002).Roast shops continued sprouting up throughout central Michigan well into the 21st century – most notably White Rose Coffee located at 4200 US Highway 231 northcentralGrand Rapids from 1997 until 2013 (Koch 2016; Sauerbach 2017).Today Fresh Roasted Coffee Continues To Be A Popular Drink All Over State

East Grand Rapids, Michigan is a city in the eastern U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Washtenaw County. The population was 54,814 at the 2010 census, up from 45,823 at the 2000 census. It is bordered by Kalamazoo to the west, Muskegon Heights to the north, Hillsdale to the east and southeast, and Grand Rapids to the south. The first Europeans to visit East Grand Rapids were traders travelling between Detroit and Michigans far western region in what is now Ohio in 1701. In 1824-25 Augustus Woodward built an infrastructure for a new town called Dearborn on land he had bought from Ottawa County commissioners John Green (1753-1831), Isaac Brock (1775-1849) and others after they vacated their holdings near Fort Wayne during Tecumseh's war with Great Britain. Dearborn grew rapidly but died when a fatal ice storm struck in 1827; its citizens moved back into East Grand Rapids soon afterward. In 1834 US Representative John Crampton proposed that Michigan become a territory with its own government under President Andrew Jackson; it passed both houses of Congress but was vetoed by Jackson because he thought Territorial governments would be too weak without federal help enforcing justice within their borders. After a year's delay Jackson announced his decision not to take part in Mexican–American War on February 14, 1846; East GrandRapids became part of Union Territory of Indiana as part of that conflict rather than observe Mexican independence which many residents viewed as illegitimate anyway given Mexicos recent defeat at Buena Vista Hill two years earlier. The city served as its capital until November 2nd 1870 when Lansing took office there as Governor of Michigan following Redford Hummel's resignation due to ill health; Lansing returned home on November 10th before taking office again on December 3rd where he remained until March 6th 1871 when he resigned effective date for personal reasons related to mental illness).
