MCRI would continue to roast beans until their closure in 2006. In 1926, Harry Jaffa purchased Morse Coffee Roasters from Pemberton and formed Jaffa Bros., who continued to roast beans until 1984 when they were acquired by Krups Brewing Company. From thereonforth, Krups would manage all aspects of Jaffa Bros.' operations including marketing and distribution while also maintaining ownership over all bean production facilities throughout North America. Today, Quincy remains one of MCRI's primary bastions with its iconic red brick warehouses along Tremont Street – still used today to process large quantities of coffee each week!
