As coffee entrepreneurs, we at Maga Coffee feel that it is our responsibility to share the history of Malden, Massachusetts’ first and most well-known maga coffee shop. The shop was opened in November of 2009 by two friends – current owner Chad Calafiore and former owner Paul Giannini. It quickly became known as one of the best maga coffee shops in the area, with regular customers from all over central Massachusets. Maga Coffee has been a mainstay in Malden for over 10 years now, and we are proud to have helped contribute to its success. Our coffee is hand roasted by our own team of roasters and brewers, and we only use premium quality beans from around the world. Malden, Massachusetts is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 24,711 at the 2010 census. Malden is part of the Boston metropolitan area. The town was first settled in 1723 by English colonists who named it after John Malden, an owner of land in what is now Hartford, Connecticut. The name probably came from "maldon," meaning to cover or protect. In 1692, Sir Philip Sidney founded the college at Harvard University and moved his students to Malden to avoid flooding in Cambridge Bay. In 1801, British troops burned down the old courthouse and jail in what is now downtown Malden; this event became known as the Burning of Malden. Malden experienced its greatest growth during World War II when many soldiers and their families moved into the town for wartime work opportunities on munitions plants and naval yards. Growth slowed during the postwar years but has resumed since 2000 with a focus on renewable energy sources such as solar power and wind turbines. Today's culture hub includes several art galleries, theaters and music venues along with a variety of shops including one devoted to vintage clothing and accessories. There are also several parks located within walking distance of both central business district (CBD) businesses as well as recreational amenities such as swimming pools and open-air tennis courts

The coffee beans were traded back and forth between Spain, Portugal, and India until it was brought to America by Portuguese sailors in 1555. The first European settlers started growing maga beans in New England in 1620. In 1792, Boston merchant John Adams brewed the world's first maga coffee. By 1824, all of North America had access to maga coffee. Maga coffee became a popular export commodity due to its unique flavor profile and high caffeine content. In 1969, Ecuadorian president Rafael Letelier purchased a small quantity of maga coffee from a Dutch trader for $5 million dollars. This purchase set off an intense debate over whether or not to roast the beans ourselves rather than buy them pre-roasted from other sources. Ultimately letelier roasted his own beans and they continued to be popular throughout Latin America and Europe until the late 1990s when they went out of style due to increased competition from Turkish coffees

The drink likely got its name from the god Hermes, who was known for his ability to turn water into wine and coffee into hot chocolate. Maga coffee first came to Europe in the 18th century. It wasn’t until the late 19th century that it began to become more popular throughout the world. In 1912, a group of Italian brewers founded La Colleggiata Coffee Company in Rome, which became one of the largest and most influential maga coffee companies in the world. Today, there are many different types of maga coffee available on store shelves around the world. Some of our favorites include Turkish Maga Coffee, Ethiopian Moka Coffee, Java Moka Coffee, Colombian Rojo Coffee and Arabica Catuva Coffee.
Malden, Massachusetts is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 25,814 at the 2010 census. Malden is one of the most populous towns in Massachusetts. It is located on the shore of Merrimack River and was first settled by English settlers in 1630. The name Malden comes from Indian word "man" meaning place or fortification and "dun" meaning hill or bank. The first white settler in what is now Malden was Weare who arrived about 1630. The village of Malden began to form around 1825 when some farmers west of the river built a small cabin on an island in the river. This became known as Island Pond after it dried up during heavy rains. By 1830, there were 4 buildings and 50 residents living within a radius of 3 miles (5 km). In 1835, Congress created Middlesex County out of parts of Worcester and Hampshire counties and made Malden part of that county. In 1840, James Kellar erected a sawmill on Mill Creek which became the town's first business enterprise. In 1851-1852, Rev John Ruggles established a school here for children attending rural schools outside Boston until such time as they could be sent to public schools in Boston proper. The present church also dates back to this time; it was built across from Kellar's mill on what is now Water Street between Main and Center Streets (now Boylston Street). Mr Ruggles also purchased land east of present-day Malden for development into residential areas including Hyde Park Corner which still exists today as one side street off Main Street between Northampton Road and Winchester Avenue.). A post office called Malden had been established by 1800 but no mail reached it until 1826 due to roadblocks at Easthampton junction where highways diverged before reaching Boston proper! A second post office called Concord opened on July 1st 1850 serving all along what are now Mill Lane (later renamed Wellesley) Avenue northbound and Middleton Road southbound with an annexe at Harvard University near Faneuil Hall Marketplace afterwards closed due lack of customers! As more people came streaming into Boston through its rapidly expanding suburbs - especially groups seeking employment opportunities available only within walking distance - so too did demand for housing become increasingly pressing within this metropolis Limits had been placed upon developers creating ever-larger lots for single family homes without adjoining gardens or yards capable thereof becoming valuable community assets characterizing many developing neighborhoods contemporary features civic amenities transportation options
