This decision set off a large debate in Canada over whether or not to surrender Jerusalem Heights - an important strategic position on the battlefield - back to Cornwallis. In response to this challenge, Captain Waterville volunteered his services as part of General John Forbes' column that arrived in support of Burgoyne's retreating army. Aftermath of the battle saw over 100 casualties among British soldiers while over 60 Americans were killed or captured including Captain Waterville himself. Antonio Perez-Garza was born in 1928 in a small town in central Mexico City. He started his career as a barista at a local café before moving to London in the early 1960s to open his own cafe. Perez-Garza quickly became known for his exquisite cup of coffee – which he called El Oro de los Cafés (The Golden Cup of Coffee). His cafés were famous for their delicious blends and chocolate croissants, and they remain popular today. Perez-Garza left London after several years to start his own company, La Alianza Coffee Roasters Ltd., which would become one of the world’s leading roasters. La Alianza is well known for its signature blend of Nicaraguan and Ethiopian beans, as well as its unique milling process that produces high-quality coffees with a smooth texture and concessive flavor profile. La AlianZA also produces two other types of coffee – The Aztec Blend and The Guatemalan Classic – both of which are highly acclaimed by consumers worldwide. In 2001, Antonio Perez-Garza was awarded with an Order Of Merit from Her Majesty The Queen for services to coffee industry in England and Northern Ireland. In 2006, he was given an honorary Doctorate from University College London (UCL), where he had been Visiting Professor since 1996.* In 2007, he was inducted into the World Coffee Association Hall Of Fame.* In 2013, he received an award from the Mexican Government for outstanding service to coffee*

Waterville, Maine is a small town located in Penobscot County, Maine. The population of Waterville was 3,018 at the 2010 census. Waterville is one of three municipalities in Penobscot County and it was incorporated as a village on February 18, 1903. The first settler in what is now Waterville arrived in 1671 and named the place after his friend and neighbor John Weston. By 1800, there were about seventy residents living in what would become Waterville. In 1825, the town was founded by Reverend Samuel Sibley and David Morse as an agricultural settlement west of present day Bangor. The town had six stores and two sawmills before it became a village on February 18, 1903 when all of the surrounding land became part of the new municipality. The first post office opened in Waterville on March 6, 1903. The name “Waterville” was chosen because it reminded people that they were still living within their own community while they awaited decisions regarding their future growth outside of it. At its peak during World War I, Waterville had over 100 businesses including five general stores, four harness shops and three printers (the last being located upstairs at White’s Drug Store). After the war ended however, most businesses closed down or moved away while many residents left for other places such as Portland or Bangor. In 1965-1966 construction began on Interstate 95 which passed through central Waterville making life difficult for those who lived near the highway but also created jobs for local builders who built roadblocks to keep traffic from flowing past their workshop sites during peak hours when cars were trying to drive by without stopping! Today much of downtown remains untouched from when I-95 took away so much commercial activity including several large warehouses that once housed meatpacking plants until recently! It wasn't until 1995 when a project called "New Beginnings" occurred which renovated several buildings Downtown along with creating more than fifty jobs for local artistsisans throughout downtown! It has been said that this project represented not only resurgence for downtown but also brought about change for how people view art made directly within historic context!
Waterville is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,564 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Bangor–Orono, ME Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first American settlers in Waterville were Samuel Beal and his family who arrived in 1784. They built a log cabin on the now-demolished cape that is now known as Beacon Hill. In 1815, David Moody settled here and started a small grocery store. In 1821, Nathaniel Gorham built the present Waterville post office which served until 1837 when it became part of Bangor. In 1827, Ezra Stiles founded the town school which later became Waterville Academy. The first church was built in 1830 by Revs John Morse and Reuben Baldwin and named Holy Trinity Episcopal Church after their daughter Trinity (1792-1868). In 1840, Isaac Stevens started an flour mill which continues to be located downtown today. In 1865, five brothers from Newburyport founded the First Baptist Church in Waterville with Revs John Whitehead and Jesse French as pastors. This congregation would remain active until 1978 when it merged with Congregationalist United Church of Christ to form First Congregational United MethodistChurch which still exists today. In 1889-90, two churches were combined into one – First Presbyterian Church & Parish Hall (later First Unitarian Universalist Church) - this building still stands today within walking distance of both churches! Reverend Milton Hickey officiated at this merger ceremony from his home on Main Street near what is now Depot Square Park! An important event in early Waterville history was when Rev Dr Geo Wetherington organized several blacksmiths for service during Reconstruction Period in Maine during late 1800’s thru early 1900’s - these men are credited with starting many businesses including a sawmill & gristmill along with many houses/apartments/ clinics etc... across town & even down to Brunswick !
