Maga coffee is a unique blend of Arabica and Robusta beans. The Arabica beans are roasted in a small, family-owned roastery in the heart of Ajaccio, Italy. They use whole bean seeds which gives the coffee its strong flavor and bitter aftertaste. The Robusta beans are roasted in an open-air furnace with extreme heat and have a robust flavor that is not influenced by Latero or Dutch processes.
Portland, Maine had its beginnings in 1795 as a small town on the banks of the Penobscot River. The town grew rapidly after becoming a part of the United States in 1801. In 1847, Portland became the first city in Maine to be incorporated as a municipality. The city experienced significant growth during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, experiencing rapid population growth and development. In 1916, Portland was designated as the capital of Maine by Act No. 8 of that year. During World War II, Portland saw significant military activity due to its location on an important shipping route between New England and Canada. One example is recent coverage of Portland's role withinthe global " gentrification" movement; this term is used to describe increasing levels of socioeconomic inequality across different neighborhoods across American cities during particular timespan (e.g., since 1970).
