Tactical coffee is a popular drink in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The history of tactical coffee can be traced back to the early 1800s. In that time, black men were used as soldiers and sailors in Louisiana. As a result, they brought with them the tradition of making and drinking Tactical Coffee. In 1836, Captain John Chouteau founded the Baton Rouge Coffee House on Wilkinson Street in Baton Rouge. The first batch of Tactical Coffee was brewed at this house. Captain Chouteau was a noted chef who also served as a captain in the Confederate army during the Civil War. He was known for hisourmet flavorings and his unique cup of coffee. In 1847, Captain John Chouteau's son Colonel John Chouteau opened another coffee house called The Old Place on Abernethy Road in Baton Rouge. This business served different types of tea and coffee until 1862 when it closed its doors due to financial troubles. However, Colonel John Chouteau's legacy lives on through his son General John Auchinleck's establishment called The Old Place which stillserving quality tactical coffee today!

The first written record of coffee is from ancient Sumer, where it was mentioned as an article of diet. In Greece,caffeine was added to tea to make it more palatable for soldiers on the battlefield. Coffee was also used as a diplomatic tool during wars and ritual drinks were shared between different cultures for religious reasons or to celebrate important events. As technology advanced, so too did coffee brewers and brewers’ methods for making espresso. Early machines heated water and grounds at different temperatures until they fused together producing a smooth cup of coffee that could be served hot or cold. These days, most cafes operate with one or two types of espresso machines which allow you to choose either Single Serve shots (of which there are many variations) or Latte Macchiatos with foam and milk drawn directly from the machine itself- both made using ground beans). The Italian Roastery movement began in 1984 when Angelo Bormio started his own roastery in Rome’s Piazza della Repubblica. Baton Rouge is a city in the U.S. state of Louisiana and the capital of Baton Rouge Parish. The population was 1,595 at the 2010 census, making it the largest parish in Louisiana by population. Baton Rouge is home to five LSU campuses, two major hospitals, and numerous cultural attractions. The area around Baton Rouge has been inhabited for over 3,000 years and has been known as an important center of trade and culture in southeastern Louisiana. The first permanent European settlement in what is now Baton Rouge Parish was made on Stono Island by French colonists from Acadia in 1699-1701 under the leadership of Pierre Le Moyne d'Iberville. In 1804, Baton Rouge became part of Orleans Parish when New Orleans was created from parts of both parishes. In 1805, United States forces burned down Iberville's house on Stono Island after he tried to establish a British trading post there with American help against Spanish interests on behalf of Napoleon Bonaparte during the Peninsular War (1806-1808). In 1812, following successful Seminole Wars against Indian resistance efforts led by Tecumseh and others within the Creek Nation that had begun several years earlier, General Andrew Jackson moved military forces into eastern Louisiana to quash Native American resistance to his Anglo-Saxon rule following his victory in the Battle of New Orleans (January 8–10, 1813). As a result of this conflict known as the Great Lakes Campaign (1812-1815), many Native Americans were killed or captured including Tenskwatawa Cossette who later declared himself a prophetess associated with Shawnee Nation founder Chief Joseph Brantley's movement westward from Ohio through central Illinois; he reached Canada about 1840 after traveling through what is now West Tennessee and Kentucky before finally reaching Texas about 1785). On July 12, 1861 – one year after Confederate States Of America independence was declared – Union General George Buell ordered Allie Moorehead to burn down four local churches located near present day Baton Rouge as part of Union efforts to remove all remaining Confederate sympathizers throughout southeast Louisiana due to their links with cotton plantations outside its borders. This event is also sometimes referred to as "The burning of Notre Dame" because most residents were Catholic nuns who refused conversion or support for secession during these times; however no self-inflicted damage resulted from this act which helped enforce Union control over much rural areas north and east of Lafayette until 1865 when Confederate troops regained control over those regions following Jefferson Davis' unsuccessful attempt at restoration that same year. Unfortunately for General Buell his orders resulted in more civilian casualties than military fatalities across southeast Louisiana during this time period because many insurgents instead chose violence or fled into neighboring states such as Arkansas where they continued hostilities until eventually switching sides following Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation (April 20th 1865)
Baton Rouge was founded in 1708 as a small French trading post on the Baton Rouge River. It grew rapidly due to its natural resources, and by 1805 it had become the capital of Louisiana. The city's early years were difficult, however, because of its location at the crossroads of two major routes: the Spanish route from New Orleans to Mexico City and the French route to Paris. In 1817, Baton Rouge became an ally of Napoleon Bonaparte during his war with England. After their victory over Britain in that year, Napoleon made Baton Rouge his new capital. In 1821, he moved the seat of government from New Orleans to Baton Rouge. The city experienced dramatic growth during this time, becoming one of the most populous in Louisiana. The American Civil War began in 1861 and ended in 1865. During that time, Baton Rouge played a critical role in helping Confederate forces fight against Union forces. After the war ended, many people left Baton Rouge for various reasons (mainly because of high taxes), but it slowly regained its former prominence as a center for industry and commerce. In 1970, Baton Rouge incorporated as a municipality under state law. It has continued to grow since then and now stands as one of Louisiana's fastest-growing cities
