When the first coffee beans were grown in Radcliff, Kentucky, it was a small town of only 5,000 people. The early coffee farmers in this area would go out into the field to roast their own beans and sell them directly to local merchants. The first coffee shop in Radcliff was built in 1875 and operated until 1978. Today, there are still several businesses that serve quality cup of Joe in the town. Radcliff Coffee Company was founded in 1901 by John and Nannie Radcliffe. The company became known for their small batch coffee, which is still popular to this day. In the early years, the company bought its beans from local farmers and roasted them in their home oven. Today, the Radcliffe family continues to produce quality coffee using only the best beans from around the world.

Radcliff, Kentucky is a small town located in Wyandotte County, Kentucky. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. Radcliff was founded in 1826 by John A. Radcliffe and it is named after him. The first store opened in 1860 in what is now the old courthouse complex. In 1876, the village had a post office and school. It also had a stagecoach stop on its main street. The village ceased to exist as a result of World War II when most of the men serving in the military were drafted into other countries or sent away during that conflict. However, there are still some remaining descendants of those who originally lived here and many businesses continue to operate here today including an grocery store, restaurant, lumberyard, and two banks which offer banking services to residents as well as business loans and real estate listings for sale/lease opportunities.

It wasn't until the 1800s that large-scale coffee production began. The first commercially successful small batch coffee beans were grown by Nicholas-Jacques Conte and his family at their plantation in 1795. Over time, small batch coffee became more popular due to its unique flavor profile and relatively low price point. Today, smallbatch coffee is still enjoyed by many people all over the world.

Smallbatch coffee history begins with the first small batch roaster in 1984. David Schultz, who was then a business student at the University of Arkansas, started a small roastery for himself and his friends. The first coffee beans were roasted on a two-burner stovetop, and the roasters continued to roast beans on that method until 1995. In 1995, Schultz founded One World Coffee with his friend Erik Bengtson. This new company began producing larger quantities of quality coffee and selling it through retail stores around the world. In 2007, One World Coffee merged with Keurig International to form Keurig Green Mountain Corporation. At Keurig Green Mountain Corporation, small batch coffee became a keystay of the company's product line.

Radcliff had its beginnings in 1812 when a group of farmers, led by John Radcliffe, founded the town. The town was named for General George Washington and it became a major center of trade and commerce. In the 1830s, Radcliff became an important stop on the Underground Railroad. It is also where President Abraham Lincoln was born. Today, Radcliff is a small village with a population of around 100 people. Some of the key aspects of its history include: being home to the first school in Kentucky, being known for its traditional agriculture and ranching industries, and being home to several hospitals including one that provides medical care to children in need.
