One such example is the 1942 donation by Mr. Jens Heisemeyer (owner/operator)of Heisemeyer Wharf & Dock Co., Inc., which became known as "The Marine Company" because all its business was conducted out OFW ( Outside The Water). In 1948,,Mr....(Name not available)donated 5 cases(shorecraft)with provisions for fuel oil! These days we know them as Kidde Canoes... great memories from long ago!
