Danville, Kentucky is a small town located in the Appalachian Mountains of central Kentucky. The population was 6,876 at the 2010 census. Danville is home to many high quality coffee beans and roasters that have been producing great coffee for decades. The first coffee shop in Danville was opened in 1916 by W.G. Hargrave and Sons as a grocery store. The first crop of beans from this early roaster was used to create the famous Koffee Klatch brand of coffee. Today, Koffee Klatch is one of the most popular brands in the United States and around the world. In 1948, Harry Potterand Friends Coffee debuted on Main Street in Danville with two locations open throughout southern Kentucky including one at (now) Barnes & Noble College Park campus in Lexington, KY and another location near Louisville, KY. This unique blend of roasted Arabica beans were hand-pulled right here on site using old-fashioned methods like burning down some trees to roast them! It wasn’t until after Harry Potterand Friends Coffee closed its doors that Starbucks moved into town – but it didn’t stop there! The town's first store was built on the site of present-day Mount Zion Baptist Church. In 1865, the Danville Manufacturing Company was founded and became one of the leading manufacturers of shoes and clothing in Kentucky.

Danville is the county seat of Hardin County and home to the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. The town is also known for its annual agricultural festival which takes place in late October or early November. The first settlers in what is now Danville arrived in 1802. They were led by Captain John Todd and his son Colonel James Todd. Captain Todd's group traveled from Illinois to find land that would house them and their families. The community was named after General Daniel Boone who had helped found Kentucky in 1792. In 1812, Lieutenant Governor Ratcliffe erected a toll road through the community which became known as "The Todd Toll Road." In 1815, Colonel JamesTodd founded the university called Kentucky Agricultural College (later renamed UK). He donated land for the college and construction began on October 24th, 1816. At that time, it was one of only two universities in America established with state-provided funds exclusively for education rather than private enterprise like Yale and Harvard. The school opened its doors on February 14th, 1819 with 80 students enrolled from thirteen counties including Danville. One hundred years later, on November 15th of this year, UK announced it would be closing due to budget cuts but reopened under new management less than two months later when a $20 million gift from entrepreneur Drayton McLarty made it possible to keepUK open until 2020 without any government funding necessary beyond that date Kentucky Agricultural College has since become one of the leading colleges among American universities educationally speaking with over 350 majors program options available online/offline while still providing world-class agriculture programs like horticulture and crop science; making UK one of few such institutions with both undergraduate & graduate degrees offered simultaneously worldwide! It also helped start a movement towards better quality beans from Arabica beans instead of South American ones. 2) World War II – After World War II, Europe underwent an intense period of change which led to decreased demand for both food and beverage products overall. However, one sector which benefited greatly from this transition was the pharmaceutical industry. Because European scientists had access to new strains of bacteria that caused insomnia (a disease often looked down upon), they were able to develop new medications based off these genetics! 3) The late 1800s/early 1900s – One significant trend during this time period was increasing emphasis on preserving foods rather than eating them fresh all the time; this led to increased popularity for processed foods like packaged coffees instead of fresh produce or meat! 4) The Meiji Period (1868-1912) – This era saw tremendous changes happening throughout Japan including an increase in education and technology which allowed for greater innovation within various industries… such as tea! As a result, Japanese individuals began importing higher-quality coffees from abroad beginning in 1892oisne (!!).

Danville is a community in and around Danville, Kentucky, United States. The population was 10,812 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Lexington metropolitan area. The community was founded by Welsh immigrants in 1824 as a small farming village on the east bank of the Ohio River. By 1850 it had grown to include a church and schools, and by 1870 its population had reached nearly 1,000. In 1875 Danville became one of several towns that were consolidated into Lexington under the new name of "Danville". The town's growth slowed after World War II, but since then it has regained some of its former prosperity through commercial development and tourism. Fromsettlement began in 1792 when Captain James Cook discovered what would become Kentucky while exploring the Ohio River region. A group of men led by Samuel Richardson surveyed land in present-day Danville in 1795; they named their settlement "Newtown" after Newtown, Ireland. In 1800 settlers from North Carolina arrived and erected a log cabin near wherepresent-day Old Main State University stands today. At this time prospectors were looking for gold along the riverbanks; they failed to find any worthwhile minerals until 1825 when an American Express wagon train stopped at Newtown for supplies en route to Cincinnati (then known as Manchester). Onlookers reported seeing shiny objects on or near the banks of the river; soon enough there were Several mills built along both sides ofthe river throughout central Kentucky utilizing water power from rapids on either sideofthe river for spinning yarns and cloths into finished products such as hats and clothing
