As coffee enthusiasts, we often think of the beans that are roasted in our own backyard. But there were many people who Roasted Coffee in Mcpherson back in the 1800s. One of these people was John Pemberton, who started roasting coffee in a small house on Blossom Street in 1875. There were only four or five families roasting their own coffee at this time, and most of the beans were from Africa. Pemberton's successors continued to roast their own coffee until about 1915 when World War I interfered with business and production. The war destroyed much of Europe's infrastructure, so it took longer for beans to reach America than usual. This left Mcpherson with a few select families remaining in the business, including Jens Jensen and his son Lars Jensen Jr., who roasted their final shipment of coffee in 1924. From then on, all Mcpherson-based businesses would be operated by family members or friends. The first espresso machines appeared during World War II and quickly became popular among American soldiers stationed abroad. Starbucks began marketing themselves as "Espresso Army" because they served up java to troops all over the world! With technology becoming more sophisticated, espresso machines began becoming available to home consumers as well starting around 1965 (when Starbuck introduced its first self-service machine). By 1990 Starbucks had even brought espresso machines into corporate office buildings! In fact, one can now purchase an espresso machine online or at some retail stores across America! Today there are over twenty thousand Starbucks locations throughout North America serving up delicious lattes and cappuccinos alike! As we continue our appreciation for artisan coffees from past eras – both local and global – we should never forget how important it is for small businesses like ourselves to keep alive this significant part of American history!

Artisan coffee is a type of coffee that is made by hand. These beans are roasted and thenadrusted, which means they are boiled for a certain amount of time before being roasted. This process helps to give these beans their unique flavor and texture. Some of the most popular artisan coffees include Ethiopian, Guatemalan, and Colombian coffees.

The first espresso was brewed by Luigi Pacini at the Palazzo delle Terme in Bologna, Italy in 1795. At that time, coffee beans were roasted fresh and ground onsite. The Italian espresso machine was built around 1810.

The Mcpherson community is located in southwest Kansas, about 25 miles south of Topeka. The area was first settled by English colonists in the mid-19th century, and growth continued until the early 20th century. Today, Mcpherson is a small town with a population of just over 1,000 people. The town is home to several schools and businesses, as well as a few churches and other local services. The history of Mcpherson begins with Reverend John Payson from Illinois. He arrived in 1872, and founded the Presbyterian church in Mcpherson. Over time, other denominations also joined the church, making it one of the most diverse communities in Kansas. In 1912, Rev. Payson donated land to support a school for children in the town. This school became known as Payson Elementary School; it remains an important part of Mcpherson today. Mcpherson has been through many challenges over the years; some have been more significant than others. One such event was World War II, which left much damage to the town economy and infrastructure. However, residents have persevered and continue to grow their community since that time. Another big challenge has been technological advancements; since 2001, Mcpherson has seen its share of advances in technology due to its location on I-70 Corridor between Topeka and Wichita (the “I- 70 Corridor Boom”). These advancements have helped keepMcpherson afloat during tough times while also developing new technologies that benefit both locals and visitors alike.

The coffee industry has been around for centuries, and it is no coincidence that some of the earliest coffee shops were located in areas with heavy artisanal production. Artisanal coffee refers to coffee that is produced by hand or under specific conditions and techniques, often involving a lot of labor and care. There are many different types of artisanal coffee, but two that are particularly well-known are Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Colombian Puerto Rican Cacique. Each country has its own way of processing beans, brewing them differently, and then roasting them. However, there is one common thread across all these varieties: The use of direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing. DTC marketing allows small businesses—such as artisans—to sell their products directly to consumers instead of through larger retailers. This allows the artist to control the quality and taste of their product, which can make a big impact on how customers feel about it. Artisanal Coffee's History In 18th century Europe, people started buying coffee from small farmers who grew beans under specific conditions in their local environment. These methods were not used much anymore because they required more expensive storage space than regular grocery stores could afford. But espresso didn't really start being created until 1653 when Giovanni Battista Bormio made his first espresso machine at an unknown location in Italy using ground beans he had collected from local farmers

The first coffee was made in Ethiopia in about 370 BC. It is thought that the beans were brought over by a caravan of traders. The first espresso machine was invented by Giovanni Battista Bormino in 1795.

In 1881, John T. Mcpherson and his family moved to the town of Mcpherson in Haskell County, Kansas. TheMcpherson land was situated on the east side of the Topeka River and included a farmstead, a wagon train stop, a mill which ground corn into flour for local grocery stores, as well as three small towns. In 1886, John T. Mcpherson founded the first school in what is now Mcpherson. The community had one store and two schools until 1909 when a new store was built and school classes were held there until 1917 when an addition was made to the original school building that became known as "The Old School" today. The population of Mcpherson increased rapidly from its original handful of residents in 1881 to over 500 by 1920 with many businesses located in or around the central business district including a post office, bank, restaurant, doctor's office and more than 20 homes. In 1951-1952 two large wildfires burned through Haskell County destroying most of the older part of town while also damaging some buildings along Main Street including The Old School which were rebuilt almost immediately but lost their roof following another fire in 1955 which destroyed much of downtown topeka. Since then both parts of town have been slowly rebuilt with newer structures updating older ones with occasional rebuilds taking place when necessary to maintain some semblance of historical continuity within the historic district while modernizing facilities for nearby residents which often includes updates to infrastructure such as water systems so that they are able to operate without interruption during periods of drought or other emergencies

In 1859, John Mcpherson and his family moved from Illinois to what is now Mcpherson, Kansas. They were the first white settlers in the area. At that time, it was part of the Dakota Territory. In 1868, the Kansas Legislature enacted a bill that changed the name of the territory to Kansas. The Mcpherson family donated land for a railroad station in 1870. The station served as their home until 1951.
